“7-ELEVEN MANAGER FIGHTS BACK ON SHOPLIFTING BY RECORDING THIEVES WITH PHONE”
“One 7-Eleven manager in Chesapeake, Virginia is taking matters into his own hands by videotaping thieves with his phone and posting the videos on Facebook.
“Unfortunately, stealing is a daily occurrence at many 7-Eleven stores. However, one local manager is taking matters into his own hands by videotaping the thieves with his phone and posting the videos on Facebook.
“I just hate how much money we are losing, and it’s just not us, it’s every single store that’s losing money,” said Malik Akhtar.
Akhtar manages a 7-Eleven in Chesapeake, Virginia. He said at least three or four times a day, customers are caught stuffing merchandise into their pockets.
“It’s more adults and it’s not like they are broke or something, it’s more just like it’s a habit for them,” said Akhtar.
Akhtar decided to begin using his own cell phone camera to record these thieves. Then, instead of calling the police, he ridicules them, demanding they give the stolen merchandise back. Eventually, he posts the video on the store’s Facebook page for all to see.
“I actually want to expose those people so other store managers actually know,” said Akhtar. “People actually gave me a positive response, ‘oh we know this guy’, so now you know what they are up to, it’s just like awareness for other people to watch out.”
Akhtar said it’s also nice to embarrass these criminals, so hopefully, they don’t do it again.
Akhtar said most thefts include beer, candy bars and energy drinks, which may not seem like much, but it adds up. One time he confronted a customer with $90 of merchandise tucked away.
“Everybody whose store he is walking into is losing money because of him being there and I’m sure he did not spend a penny in there,” said Akhtar.
He said the videos may seem humorous, but theft is a serious matter, and he’ll do whatever it takes to stop it.”
Bastards do this thieving cause they know, even if caught, there is no real punishment. Gotta sell a buncha lotto tickets to make up a $90 shop lifting loss. And hell, that from just the 1 he caught.

A 15-year-old girl who shot and killed her mother’s boyfriend will not be charged, according to the district attorney’s office.
Rutherford County deputies were called Wednesday night to a home on Lakeview Drive in Forest City about a shooting.
They found Steven Kelley dead in the home with two gunshot wounds.
Deputies learned that Kelley and his girlfriend, Chandra Nierman, 44, and her three children, a son, 12, and daughters, 15 and 16, had recently moved to the area from Indiana.

I can’t understand why these women date a felon, pay the bail and take the losers back after getting their butts kicked?
Ladies, you deserve better!

“Watch: Employee stops man in
wheelchair from robbing Jacksonville store”:

A local man is facing charges after he was accused of trying to rob a Downtown gas station.
It happened at the Shell gas station on North Main Street which is just one block away from the First Baptist Church.
It happened behind the counter because the suspect – who is in a wheelchair went to the clerk for help claiming someone was trying to steal from him in the parking lot.
The clerk who did not to want to go on camera told Action News Jax he saw the suspect reach into his waistband and he thought he had a gun. That prompted the clerk to reach for a bat, lunged down and press the emergency button to call the police.
A fight broke out at first between the two men as they both grab on to the bat, but then the clerk kicked the man into the hallway, shutting the window and locking all the doors until police arrived.
According to police, no money was taken, and no one was injured. An officer on the scene said the suspect will be charged with robbery.
Only in Jax. That town was fubar for my two tours there, and it’s only gotten worse.
Props to the 15 y/o daughter who shot had killed the lowlife who was attacking her mom. Women, you can do better.
