Ryan W. Chrzanowsky; phony Purple Heart recipient

| September 9, 2017

One of our ninjas sent us a link to the story of Ryan W. Chrzanowsky of Deerfield, Illinois. When he was the subject of a domestic violence incident, he told deputies of the Lake County Sheriff’s Department that he was a law enforcement officer and a recipient of the Purple Heart;

The deputy began speaking to Chrzanowsky, who claimed to be a law enforcement officer. Further investigation revealed he was not a law enforcement officer.

Chrzanowsky also claimed to be a Purple Heart recipient and upon investigation, the Purple Heart claim was determined to be false.

Ryan Chrzanowsky was arrested and charged with False Personation of a Peace Officer (Class 4 Felony). On September 7, 2017, Chrzanowsky appeared in bond court and was released on a $25,000 personal recognizance bond. His next court date is October 11, 2017.

Nothing like making a bad situation worse, huh?

Rancid cherry on the top of the shit covered sundae.

Were these people not taught any values, morals or ethics? I’m sure they were…they just decided that those only count for other people.

As well as a syphilitic jailhouse cum bucket.

I’d be happy to shoot him in the ass so he has a phony war wound to go with that phony Purple Heart.

I need coffee….totally thought that said

“False penetration of a peace officer”

I’m going back to bed.

“Personation”.I sure as hell had to google that one.

Ex-PH2

Yeah, the po-po don’t take it lightly when someone says/does naughty things and claims to be one of their own, too.

Domestic violence, too. Drew Peterson is still in jail, you know. Someone should have told this idiot about him.

Green Thumb

A truly “Phildoesque” dude, indeed.

Turd.

Guard Bum

It was all a misunderstanding. He is a mall security guard enforcing the malls laws and the kids from Mrs Melson’s 3rd grade class had given him a big old crepe paper purple heart during a Valentines field trip to the mall.

See, dont you guys feel bad for jumping to conclusions?

Jeff LPH 3, 63-66

I guess he will just have to grin and “Beard” it.

I’m still trying to figure out how the subject of a Purple Heart would even come up in a conversation during a domestic violence call. I have a fine collection of medals, not least of which is the NDSM, but don’t feel compelled to mention them every time I meet someone new. This sounds like a Jim Carrey gay parody.

Mason

Cops discuss such things. Helps to build rapport with people, gets them talking to you. Of course, some people like to make themselves look good when arrested. I pinched a guy once who name dropped a couple people in my department. Then said he had been a Captain in the USAF, educated at the Air Force Academy.

I casually mentioned the Air Force core values and he said “the Air Force doesn’t have core values.” I found a liar.

We had a talk on the way to county lockup about how he is a fake, a liar, and doesn’t know real service or sacrifice.

At trial it was mentioned he spent less than a semester at the USAFA. Must have washed out of summer camp there, since I’m sure the core values are at the top of the list of things to learn.

John Robert Mallernee

Does the Army have core values?

I don’t remember ever being taught anything about that when I was a soldier.

Of course, that was a VERY long time ago.

Mason

Indeed they do. https://www.army.mil/values/

I remember seeing the LDRSHIP on rocks at Leonard Wood when I was there 15 years or so ago. So they’ve had them for a while now.

I know they harped on the Air Force core values very hard when I went through basic. Since the guy I was talking to was about my age, I knew he was full of shit.

Just An Old Dog

I believe all the services had Core Values since they were formed. Its been only the past few decades that they been labeled as such/
I think that also back in the day the Military assumed recruits had some sort of morals and values coming in.
With newer generations its far from given.

John Robert Mallernee

@ MASON:

Thank you.

No, none of that existed, or was taught back when I was in the regular United States Army.

Actually, I’m sure they covered those subjects with the training films they showed us in Basic Combat Training, but no formal written code had yet been created, nor was there anything to be memorized, except for the, “GENERAL ORDERS”.

As far as I knew, it was all just sort of understood.

We had the, “CODE OF CONDUCT”, and in Viet Nam, we were issued the historic, “STANDING ORDERS FOR ROGER’S RANGERS”.

Does the United States Army still use those?

Mason

We had to memorize the code of conduct, but many years on I can only remember the first. I could probably give you the gist of the rest, which is probably the point.

Funny what you remember from the formative experience of basic. I can still recite the mantra of “drive 3/4 to one full canteen per hour, not to exceed 12 canteens per day” that they told us over and over again. This was only a year or two after a trainee drowned himself by drinking too much water, so it’s probably a good lesson to remember.

Thunderstixx

How come they never try anything believable, like being a US Army ski instructor ???

Skidmark

Funny…I am a Ski Instructor and our Head Instructor does teach the Military. We’re from a small hill in Michigan…”Pine Knob”, yet we have sent many to the US World Cup Freestyle Team and other teams.

This clown looks eerily similar to a dude I saw a few years back selling used cars right off of Benning.

Hack Stone

“We Finance E-1 And Up. No Money Down With Your LES”.

I saw a used car lot outside the main gate of Camp Lejeune that had an almost 20 year old green Dodge station wagon with a sign reading “$50 Down. $50 A Week. Great Swoop Car!” They have probably sold that car a hundred times by now.

Green Thumb

When you crank it up and drive it off the lot is sounds like its got the flu.

I can remember a few times when leadership had to intervene due to “Joe” getting the “Max Deal”: $400+ car payment and $400+ insurance payment. Old “Fast Jack” down at Fast Jack Auto Sales loves those lower enlisted.

You want a BMW? No Problem. Here is the deal. Only issue was the BMW was 20 damn years old. But there is a sucker born a minute and a foll and their money are easily parted. Its called the Infantry!
