Thursday morning feel good stories
From Fayette County, West Virginia;
Sheriff Mike Fridley reported that his department was notified about 10:58 p.m. that Angelia Jones had been shot in the lower abdomen on Gatewood Road. She was taken to Plateau Medical Center for treatment, where deputies contacted her for questioning. She was transferred to Charleston Area Medical Center for further treatment, where Fridley said she is listed as stable.
Fridley said shortly after the first call, they were notified that Jarrell Green, 21, of Oak Hill, was shot twice in the legs. Green was transported to Raleigh General Hospital for treatment. Deputies learned he was shot at Jones’ residence during the alleged attempted robbery.
Fridley said although Jones was wounded during the robbery attempt, she managed to obtain the firearm from the shooter and shot back at the attackers, at which time Green was wounded.
An attempted robbery at 1 a.m. Wednesday morning resulted in a convenience store clerk exchanging gunfire with the would-be crooks.
The shootout occurred at a 76 station located near Eastern Avenue and the US-95. The clerk reportedly pulled out his legally-carried gun during the robbery, leading to an exchange of six gunshots between the clerks and the suspects.
The clerk was not injured in the shootout. The suspects fled the scene, and it is believed that they escaped without injury.

RANGE TIME!!
I suspect that next time Angelia Jones will provide her own handgun rather than waiting for the perps to bring one for her to use.
