Saturday morning feel good stories

| February 18, 2017

A homeowner in Weatherford, Texas caught a burglar rummaging through his vehicle. The homeowner held the thief at gun point while he called the lawmen to come and pick him up.

A smoke shop employee in Waco, Texas, stopped Cedric Brown from committing an armed robbery with several rounds;

Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said store employees reported that Brown entered the store with a gun and threatened customers and employees while demanding cash.

Swanton said an employee, “due to the suspect’s criminal behavior and placing others in fear of their lives,” shot the suspect.

A pistol Brown reportedly brandished during the alleged robbery was recovered at the store and determined to be stolen, Swanton said.

Most of us know that “When Seconds Count, the Police are just Minutes Away”. Having a store employee that is legally armed stop a thug can make the difference in living and dying, or in having or not having your wallet, purse, or other valuables. Being legally armed yourself, is even more assurance that what is yours, will stay yours.

Glad to see citizens defending themselves. Yes, when the police are needed, they are merely a half hour away.

“A pistol…..was recovered….and determined to be stolen…..”

Tell me again how all the proposed gun control and universal background check laws would have prevented Mr Brown from having a stolen gun? (/sarc)

I think their theory is DBW, that if all guns are banned (because first of all, that is their priority agenda) then a side effect is that there won’t be any available for someone to steal making this a unicorn filled, loving, world.

Of course, said people that think this way are diffusional & idiots.

I wonder why it is so hard to find media reports of such heroism under fire? Me thinks the lamestream mediots won’t run these stories because it goes against their mission of taking our guns away from us. Even when you do find a story of one of us defending our life and property, they try and make it look like we are the bad guys? Oh, the mean person shot poor Trevon while he was beating the victims head into the concrete! You never get the whole story from the media, the robber was always just starting to turn his life around, start medical school, etc. I loved the classic story a while back about some thug that was robbing someone in south Florida and the ran the story with, “How else was he going to get new school clothes?” I am surprised that they don’t charge more of the heroes with manslaughter or murder charges? Always make sure you shoot to kill so the miscreants won’t be able to sue you! I would also recommend that you have a very cold throw down just to be on the safe side!
