Wednesday morning feel good stories
From Alice, Texas;
Officer Brandon Reynolds had responded to a disturbance call on Lucero Street when he observed a stolen vehicle out of San Antonio. According to a witness, a man, later identified as Tywon Scates, was in possession of the vehicle but left walking.
As Reynolds was investigating the stolen truck he discovered Scates was involved in a foot pursuit with other officers.
Reynolds arrived at Dewey and Texas Boulevard and made contact with the homeowner who stated he opened his door just as Scates was trying to get into his home.
According to Reynolds’ police report, the victim had a firearm in his hand and shot at Scates. The victim explained to the officer how he feared for the safety of his wife and two children inside the home.
Officers located Scates who had been shot in the right ankle.
In Los Angeles, you have to wait for the criminal to bring you a gun;
The victim and his father, Francisco Suarez Sr., 44, told investigators that the two robbers came into their Edding Drive home, a cul-de-sac off Mount Vernon Street, about 2 a.m.
Nelson said the intruders held the homeowner and his son at gunpoint. There was a struggle over a gun, and the homeowner’s son was shot once in the torso.
The then homeowner shot one of the intruders, killing him, Nelson said.

That was a test. Only a test. Had this been an actual OT you would have been instructed to tune to your local CONELRAD station for further instructions.
Now I will go back and read the articles.
Tywon Scates. Oh no he didn’t.
The name “Tywon”, doesn’t that give a hint as to his racial identity?
I wasn’t sure so without a photo I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I even considered it a misspelled Tyrone but then saw that it could be a hat tip towards mike Tyson that won a fight or something like that. Just bein PC.
Evidently the lady typing up the birth certificate had just returned from a couple of hits of crack and a dose of Thunderbird…
Lessee… Tywon on, Tywon to the tree…
Oh the hits are endless !!!
If Obama had a son…
Kinda wish the guy in Alice had been a bit more COM, but any mother who saddles her son with “Tywon” need slapped.
“Shot in the ankle”. I bet that was a very short foot chase.
Two mooks – two caught.
