James Walker Morales recaptured
The other day we talked about James Walker Morales who escaped from custody in Rhode Island for stealing rifles from the local Army Reserve armory in Worcester, Massachusetts back in 2015. The Army Times reports that he has been recaptured after he tried to rob a bank in Somerville, Massachusetts;
State police spokesman David Procopio said troopers were in the area after a second attempted bank robbery in neighboring Somerville when a trooper spotted Morales walking. They said Morales ran, the trooper chased him for about two blocks and he was captured as he tried to jump a fence.
Morales was set to be booked at a state police barracks in Medford on Thursday evening, authorities said. He couldn’t be reached for comment while in custody.
Maybe they can hold on to him for the time being.

Every time I read something like that I can’t decide whether the press is either pretentious or naive enough to think they will be or should be allowed access to a prisoner.

Looks like the prison he escaped from has some problems – three Corrections Officers and a supervisor suspended over the escape.
Almost four hours before they knew he escaped and another hour before anyone called the local POPO about it.
James Walker Morales is back in “the loving arms/bed” of Thor, Bubba, Julio and Mr “Tiny” once again.
They call it a “detention facility” in some reports.
Not conceptually like a “maximum security facility”, and it seems that someone wasn’t doing count right.
I figured he would be caught in Merritt Island, Florida.
Oh well. You can’t win them all….

He was a prison escapee. He was dangerous. WTF was he not captured DOT?
Maybe because he was recaptured in the PRoM and they were more concerned about snowflakes rioting over some “Victim of Society” getting gunned down by Police?
Truth of the matter was he wanted to be recaptured and returned to prison in time for the Late Winter Prom. Nice little sparkly sequins on a short skirt…he’s bound to become the Prom Queen of cell block “A”.
He will get all his teeth puled, hot wax poured over his gums, a vertical mustache cut, and allowed to spend one hour in every cell block in units “A” through “Z”. He will become a very popular dude if he uses his head, for once.
