In 7 of 8 incidents, Legally armed citizens defended their lives and goods with firearms. In all of this not one of the bad guys was permanently stopped from pursuing a life of crime. The most successful end of the 8 events was that a tree knocked a bad guy out. Plenty of trial expenses and jail costs ahead for the taxpayers.

Yep, unfortunately those goblins will be getting “three hits and a cot” at taxpayer expense not to mention the oxygen they continue to steal from productive people.

But, they’ll be ready for the next season of the Prison Football League… as “Wide Receivers”

First!

So a tree in Oregon smacked a bad guy upside the head and knocked him out. Good for the tree! I do have to ask if Mr. Mackey was a treehugger and the tree was getting even with him.

It’s a jungle out there. Be careful!

Skyjumper

Knocked out by a nice piece of Ash, what more could a guy ask for. 😉

(Going back to the couch now).

Being a former NBC NCO I couldn’t help but smile about the tree story.

Brings back fond memories…

OldManchu

Legal weed in Oregon. We mustn’t judge him for lack of depth perception while fleeing from the law.

Come on, people…. RANGE TIME!

Eden

I wonder how much opportunity legal firearms owners in Cali have for range time, and how many legal hoops they have to jump through to get it.

Graybeard

Since they have to get a permit to even buy ammo – not much I would guess.

Graybeard

Looks like in Houston the homeowner tried for a head shot and got it in the 5-ring.

Not bad for a moving target.

I’m in the area and I believe the report said that the police found the bad guy laid out. Even if it was at such a shallow angle that the bullet deflected it still smacked the piss out of him.

Anyway, I wonder if it was the same tree that knocked out Junior from the movie Platoon.

More along a “dumb-ass crook’ story, stopped by my favorite reloading shop in Houston and found half the storefront boarded up – apparently a krewe of 4 fellas drove a stolen F250 through it on New Year’s morning. Video shows them looking in the empty cases for guns, then looking unhappily at the two giant safes into which all the guns are loaded every night. Had they only bothered to look through the other half of the windows, the empty shelves are clearly visible… cops say they drove through another storefront about a half hour later.

In Florida news this morning, it seems they are going to try and ban the sale of those oh so nasty big black scary guns again! I pray they are not successful in their endever? They will never get mine. They want to make it a felony to even own one???

I have been looking around for information on this. Do you have a link to where you saw it,WW?

It’s just a couple of our liberal yankee democrats putting on a show.
Don’t worry they don’t call us the Gunshine State for nothing!
