Thursday morning feel good stories
Two, possibly three men forced their way into a home in Phoenix, Arizona where they encountered an armed homeowner. One of thieves was wounded and the other was DRT (dead right there).
In Homestead, Florida, two fellows tried to rob a bank, they were thwarted in their attempt by an armed private security guard who shot one of the thieves DRT (dead right there) while the other escaped.
In Shelby County, Tennessee a man invited a couple of acquaintances to his home. The pair tried to steal his shoes and a gun fight broke out. One of the thieves and the resident were injured. The second thief was DRT (dead right there).
A fourteen year old boy shot a woman in Wood County, Texas who he thought was an animal, but turned out to be a burglar. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for her chest wound.
A woman leaving her gym encountered an auto-thief in Tifton, Georgia. She was armed with a .45 caliber handgun and fired a warning shot and held the crook until the police arrived.

5 incidents of society’s dregs trying to take from those who work for what they have. Thanks to Law Abiding Citizens, 3 bad guys are dead, one wounded and one has filled his boxers with all that he had inside himself while facing a lady with a .45. Not the best vocation to get into.
I am forever amazed at how many people hear shots and say, ‘I thought they were fireworks but then….’ If it ain’t between July 1st and 10th or so, what you’re hearing ain’t firecrackers.
you mean all the fireworks stands aren’t open there? Here in Houston, New Year’s Eve is as loud and flashy as the 4th.
Louder – they mix alcohol with their fireworks shootin’ too often.
Now is the time to stock up on a half-years’ supply of pyrotechnics, just saying.
I wonder if Cankles was able to get 0.10 on the dollar for her celebration fireworks?
Such a celebration it was….just for Trump’s victory, not Shrillary’s. I laughed.
Where I used to work, we’d look for a highway overpass to park under, from about 11:50pm until 12:30am or so. Lots of falling bullets in certain sections of the city. Midnight sounded like an extended firefight.
I lived in Chicago for over 20 years. New Years Day about 12 years ago I was sitting in my recliner and kept feeling a cold breeze. I went to the window and found a spent round had come down through the window and was just sitting on the sill and inch from the hole. “Fun Stuff”….
Another wonderful start to the day! Nice shooting to all involved!
Re: the Homestead story; I reckon the thieves should’ve gone to the bank with the security MONITOR, not the one with the security GUARD…
So basically, the bad guys were dumber than a bag of bent screws, right?
Tried to steal someone’s shoes? How stupid are they?
Probably $2500.00 Air Jordans.
With kicks like those, you can be Just Like Mike.
“fired a warning shot” means either
a) I missed my first shot and need more range time
or
b) I’ve not made the psychological adjustment to really shoot a bad guy – and need help.
The 14-year-old really needs to learn that step about “identify your target before you shoot.” He got lucky that he shot a burglar, not an innocent person.
Found an attempted armed robbery to DRT story from the Tacoma News Tribune:

On his headstone it reads: “I died trying to steal a phone….a life well lived. My mother was SO proud.”
