The Pentagon’s transgender handbook
The Pentagon has issued a handbook in order for transgendered soldiers to navigate the new policy and in order to cash in on your new benefits getting that which God gave you hacked off or enhanced, according to The Hill;
According to the 72-page handbook, a transition will start when a military medical provider diagnoses that a transition is medically necessary.
Transitioning troops then have to notify their commanders, and commanders have to 90 days to respond. Commanders will be able to take into consideration individual circumstances and military readiness, according to the handbook.
In order to change their gender in the Pentagon’s personnel system, troops will have to have a birth certificate, court order or U.S. passport that reflects their gender identity, according to the handbook.
Once the military medical provider determines transition is complete, the service member will have to meet all the standards of their gender identity.
The handbook emphasizes that there is no separate standard for transgendered troops, however;
…if troops find they have difficulty meeting the standards of their birth gender during transition, commanders will be able to make exceptions.
“Individuals undergoing cross-sex hormone therapy may experience changes to their body shape and physical strength, which may have a notable effect on their ability to maintain standards,” the guidebook says. “If that is the case, consult with the individual and the [military medical provider] as you would for any other service member with a medical condition affecting their ability to meet physical fitness standards.”
So, there is no separate standard, unless commanders don’t want to keep their jobs. Here, sort out the uniform and grooming standards, I can’t translate social justice warrior to English;
Military Personnel Uniform and Grooming Standards
Exceptions for uniform and grooming standards may be considered per your Service’s policy. You may consider current and preferred gender uniforms, form, fit and/or function, the Service member’s professional military image, as well as impact on unit cohesion and good order and discipline. If you have questions, refer to your SCCC.
Deployment questions?
Deployment
Service members will deploy if they are medically and otherwise qualified to do so. As with any Service member, exceptions may be considered by your Service and must be coordinated with the deployed commander, if unique medical needs exist. Individuals requiring close monitoring or ongoing care may not be available for deployment.
It’s beginning to look like every day in the military will revolve around how the transgendered people feel on a given day.

Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with our country?
Not our country. This only represents the few with the loudest mouth. 98% of the population is shaking our heads.
Fair enough. We need to yell louder.
So much for Good order and standards.
RIP military culture.
“It’s beginning to look like every day in the military will revolve around how the transgendered people feel on a given day.”
Pretty much sums it up. Oh, and of course “…commanders will be able to make exceptions” if they want to keep their job.
It’s the commander’s fault, good or bad. Always.
And the 1SG is going down with him.
I sat in a folding steel chair for two days to find out that it’s always the CDRs and 1SGs fault. Now move out and draw fire!
Or gays. Or “minorities”. Or… whatever fad the media drums up for sheeple to “raise awareness about”.
Didn’t you hear? The US military is trying to field its own pansy divisions. this is looking like Luke Skywalker’s saber when the Emperor was talking crap as his battle buddies were dying in battle:

Well thank heavens they were able to get this product out to the troops. The mission was being seriously jeopardized by those wanting to turn their outies into innies and not have a procedural guideline set in place for the process.
I mean how the hell can we fight terrorists if we can’t even help troops lose or gain a dick?

I am so glad I am retired.
Each of these sections has a “exceptions” clause. Could it be that these exceptions which now have to accompany each special snowflake was the exact reason the ban existed in the first place? Nah …couldn’t be …just blame it on one ‘phobia’ or another.
Each service is now writing their own ‘Commander’s Handbook’ on how not to get relieved over mishandling tranny policies.
The we get to guess how much this will cost. Already costing millions just is staff time in working groups at all levels, off-sites to ‘study’ the issue and writing policies, etc.
It’s been done. I see nothing wrong with it. They seem to have it down pat.
And I’ve already seen this kind of attitude seeping into our beloved Armed Forces.
Well, if a condition that existed prior to entry with these individuals is no longer a bar to service, then anyone with any kind of history should be able to sign up, right?
Fair is fair, after all. You can’t allow one bunch of people with peculiar issues to serve, and bar others, especially since the group in question has a collective history of a high rate of suicide. And what about age? That shouldn’t be a bar to entry or re-entry, either, especially with prior service.
Frankly, I see some serious discrimination lawsuits coming out of this. 🙂
It really is just peachy!!!!
I honestly feel that that may have been part of the plan all along.
Half of the country, dead or alive, voted for a fundamental change and here it is.
Scene in a not-too-distant future in front of an eco-friendly imitation fireplace:
“Grandpa, what did you do during the great war on Terrorism?”
“Well, Kimberly, I sat in a windowless office in the inner ring of the puzzle palace and wrote manuals on how people trained to kill should treat transgenders better so they can feel good about themselves for their life choices of joining the military to use it for free surgeries.”
“Grandpa, is that why we’re no longer a free country?”
Ouch, that hit hard. Good post.
Ha-like they’ll still be using such cisnormative, patriarchical language as “grandpa”.
Grandpa!?! That’s sexist and insensitive! He could have been a dude that felt like a woman that became a woman, had an identity crisis, had the dude parts put back on, and now only feels like a woman in leap years. You pricks!
How’s he going to be a grandpa when he lost those parts to begin with?
Easy. By Lefty definition, your equipment doesn’t matter when it comes to belonging to a specific sex. All you have to do is “feel” like a dude or chick.
Got it. Like a Mounds/Almond Joy. Sometimes you feel like you have nuts. Sometimes you don’t.
I’m trying (very hard) to look at this through rose-colored glasses. It isn’t easy, but I have this speculation.
See, in a real war, the military needs as many people as it can get, right? Willing volunteers are always better than unwilling drafted, or that is sometimes the perception. (Let’s leave Vietnam and the draft out of this.) So if a real war fires up, and they have this personnel problem already solved for the teegeepeeps, then they’ll have no bars to recalling people of all ages in critical rates to be shore duty pukes, fobbits, desk jockeys, etc., because they’ll need a lot of people already experienced in the military culture who know how to answer the phone properly and who won’t mind having the extra cash.
Now just think about that. It means that even the poodle could be recalled to AD to soothe the wounded feelings of the LGTBs who can’t use my bathroom because I throw a hissy fit over a naked man in my bathroom while I’m taking a shower.
” in a real war, the military needs as many people as it can get, right?”
Unless Hillary and crew add to what Obama has already started, making us look like PC pushovers, we actually need good troops that can do the job the military was originally devised to do: secure the country. I don’t think, and I could be wrong, of course, the warm-body approach is what the US military would be going except in all out World War style. Even then, it would be a stretch that someone who values the “Hey, look at me! I’m special!” would get the job done even remotely as well as someone entering the service for other reasons. Just my 1.5 cents.
Trannies for desk clerks and truck drivers? Sure. Chute riggers, armorers, pilots, air traffic controllers and other high stress support rolls? Pass. Those types of people are too distracted and stressed with their own conflicted sense of being that f@ck putting my life in their hands.
Put them all in the FOBs 3 weeks away from resupply with 1 weeks worth of ammo – and forget them.
I’ll bet they’ll have that FOB looking mah-vah-luss in no time.
What do they think ISIS will do with them as POWs? Just look at what they do with people that don’t have confusion about what bathroom to use!
What a bunch of meaningless gibberish
I can see it now. The radical swelling of the VA wait. “It’s service connected. I had the surgery while on active duty. I want to change back now.”
Tier 1 stupidity!
I can’t wait until the first fag is pulled up for cracking wise about a tranny.
My friend, that was funny.
At that point they will have to consult the great “wheel of intersectionality” to determine whose victimhood status is higher.
I wish I was joking-https://sites.google.com/site/natalyadell/home/intersectionality
What about those that self-identify as the Large Schlongers but have Less Than Large? Can they get a stretch job? Inquiring minds…
Yes, the DOD just purchased 3000 taffy pullers. Conspiracy theorists say this is why. …
Oy vey… short arm inspections are never going to be the same. Is it real or is it a taffy puller?
So, that’s it then. We’re allowing in individuals who have one of, if not, the highest rate of suicide into the Armed Services. The Armed Services, which of course, is experiencing a high suicide rate due to ‘contingency operations’.
Yeah, this will work out well. (Sits back with pocorn and watches)
Let’s look at the positive side….
at least we’ll have some troops that we know won’t be stepping on their dicks.
So now can an openly cisgender Male Trooper say “I self-identify as Female today…” on the day of an APFT and demand to be graded on the female scale, getting an easy 300?
I’m glad I came in when I did and retired when I did. I have earned the right to identify as PISSED OFF.
The only bright spot in the open goat rope is that this is a POLICY. The next SecDef (providing we get somebody like Mattis) can say
“Fuck this shit” and reverse the whole stupid process.
Hopefully!
Thankfully, my DD-214 woobie protects me from this bullshit.
Fuck E-8 Moerk and her SJW ARCOM bullshit.
Speaking of DD214s, the enlistment of a male and ETS of the same person as a female is going to cause some poor clerk a headache.
With that high suicide rate can’t we make suicide bombers out of them. Can’t somebody pronounce some Christian fatwas making this religiously feasible? Allah not only gives the martyr 72 virgins, which are useless to the trans, but also 135 pearly eyed boys. Mohammad was dealing with a whole bunch of fags and he took over 1/4 of the world with them. We could send these guys out with explosive vests and, if nothing else, we could blow up ISIS’ bathrooms. We could proclaim them heroes and force everyone else to keep their mouths shut.
Six letters.
O-M-G! W-T-F!
So, instead, getting it hacked off, you know, could you, ahhh, get a bigger one put on?
When I was unable to meet the physical standards, I was given a P-3 Profile which in turn resulted in my early departure from the United States Army. Standards…who needs them, right?
I will continue to beat on this horse. The number of individuals who identify themselves as Transgender is so minuscule in the population as a whole, but within that demographic the number of those who have attempted suicide is overwhelming. As is the percentage of that group who have an additional diagnosed mental health condition that would preclude them from serving In the US Military.
This is a discussion that should have ended with those two facts. We would not allow a person with Bi-polar disorder to enlist… but its okay if they are Transgender too?
Such utter bullshit. Never mind that the Military is going to pay for this, and the VA will be stuck paying for it as well. Yet it has absolutely no connection to their service, at all.
Above all, remember, it’s a Lefty America, out there. Policy is created to support intentions without any consideration to downrange efficiency, effectiveness, or real world application. I’ll bet 50% of the current military is geared towards social awareness, equality, public image, and accounting/auditing rather than making sure it can wage war. If it wasn’t, this b.s. would have been drowned out in the cacophony of ”How the f@ck does this make us better at securing our country, a$$holes?”
I recently saw a so called transgender veteran at the VA. Definitely not passable. ?
This is just so wrong.
Does transgender surgery only include below the waist surgery?
Can a man get breast implants? If so, it would seem that they have to establish policy on the size of the implants. It can’t be based on preference. There has to be a size that is agreed upon as the baseline.
Hell, they need a committee or focus group just to decide that. The DoD will contract out to a company more well suited at the cost of a lot of money.
