Monday morning feel good stories

| September 26, 2016

I’ve got nuthin’ today. I spent the whole day yesterday Googling for stories and there’s nuthin’, so I republished this weekend’s feel good stories for those of you who missed them;

Fredrick Eisnaugle, 27, tried to break into a home in Columbus, Ohio, but he was confronted by an armed homeowner inside the home. Eisnaugle was found by police suffering from his wound and they took him to the hospital where they can find him later and drop him off at his new digs in the local lockup.

Last month, in Linndale, Ohio, Varshaun Dukes, 22, with his friends, Nathan and Mario Hubbard, tried to rob a fellow. Dukes fired at their victim and missed. The victim, a concealed weapon permit holder, returned fire. Duke lost some brain matter in the encounter, in fact he still has a .45 caliber bullet lodged in his noggin. Prosecutors are concerned how he’ll make it to his trial in his condition. Just goes to show you – you have to aim for something vital.

A clerk in Anaheim, California, fired his gun at thieves as they left his store, but he needs some range time – no one was injured.

A 63-year-old homeowner in Gary, Indiana heard someone break into his home, so he grabbed his gun to meet them. The homeowner says that a man raised a gun towards him, so he let loose a round. The intruders fired off a few more shots as they left the home. No one was injured.

In Palmero, California, a man approached a home and began firing at it and it’s occupants. One of the occupants returned fire. The intruder was found to be unresponsive by police officers when they arrived and he was taken to the hospital.

In Lubbock, Texas, Jamarcus Johnson, 22 attempted to rob a man and his girl friend in the drive way of the man’s home. The female handed the male his gun and he shot Jamarcus several times in his legs which made him easier to catch when the police found him.

A man was working on his car in his garage in Brunswick, Georgia when he was approached by three armed men who demanded his money. The man was able to get a firearm from inside his home and chased the crooks away with a single shot. The uninjured crooks were captured later by the police.

A couple of hoax sites had “good shooter” stories that those who don’t fact check are stumbling over themselves to get posted to Facebook.
There will be plenty of Feel Good Stories when the weekend news is gathered. We can wait.
Thanks for looking.

A good video of a petite Asian women chasing three armed invaders out of her home. Gun blazing and thugs running. Can someone post?

More range time people! Always 2 shots center mass and one more for good measure in the brain box!

That incident in Gary, IN – was any of the household china or furniture damaged?

I have a reasonably good ‘feelz good’ story myself. It seems that Russia and OPEC are having difficulty agreeing on oil prices, and Russia is having a production boom. Both OPEC and Russia know that if they bump up the market price of crude oil, the good ol’ US of A will start pumping its own again.

Also, the Chinese gov’t is buying coal in record volume from Norkiland. And the Ayatollah has told Imadinnerjacket not to run for president again in Iran.

IMHO, more drilling and a few more new refineries would also give us better stability and control over crude oil prices. Drilling and tapping our reserves in the USA has given us the power to give OPEC the middle finger like we never have before.

Ex-PH2

Agreed, but there is some good sense in using up the other guy’s supply before you use your own.

I think our reserves should be held back for just that reason. Use up theirs first and produce just enough of our own to keep the crude price down.
