Friday morning feel good stories

| August 19, 2016

39-year-old Aaron D. Kahler was released from jail after violating a no-contact order in Oxford, Idaho. Four hours later, he went back to the home where he had just been arrested. Kahler was escorted from the home by a man who was protecting the woman who was Kahler’s target. A few minutes later, Kahler supposedly fired a weapon at the house. The homeowner went outside and shot Kahler in the leg with a shot gun.

Nishawn Hill tried to rob a guy in Henrico, Virginia. The victim took the gun away from Hill and shot him. Now Hill is charged with his own wounding.

A fellow was burglarizing cars in Youngstown, Ohio when he was confronted by one of his victims. The thief pulled out a knife, the victim pulled out a gun and shot the thief. There’s no word on the thief’s condition, but he’s facing a slew of charges after he recovers.

A man tried to rob a convenience store in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, but all he got for his trouble is shot. Police are still looking for him.

Getting shot while robbing a convenience store is not very convenient.

As to (see what. I just did there?) the love struck Romeo in Idaho, if you love someone, set them free. If she comes back to you, she’s yours. If not, you better make sure her new boyfriend does not have access to firearms.

Instinct

Too bad he wasn’t using 00 buck with a center mass shot.

Hondo

Good advice, HS. But seems that someone beat you to it about 30 years ago. Well, all but the “no access to firearms” part, anyway. (smile)

SFC D

I think Romeo was actually in Oxford, Iowa. Oxford, Idaho is barely a spot on the map. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxford,_Idaho

I see the person in Henrico forgot the first rule of a gun fight: Bring your own gun- the criminal may not give you theirs

NiShawn???

Good grief.

Yes, with a name like that, you just know he was destined for great things…but there I go stereotyping…

“Unfortunately for Hill, the victim of the attempted robbery was able to wrangle the gun away from him before shooting him with it.

Hill is now charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm while committing a felony.”

Some cop has a wicked sense of humor; I like it!

I guess some people’s children just never learn, do they? Crime simply does not pay.

Roger in Republic

Those are the same people who give their kids made up names, guaranteeing that they will end badly.

If your mama makes up your name from prefixes and suffixes, and then misspells it, you have an 87 percent chance of dying young or in prison. Or both.

Dapandico

Alas, no taxpayer relief shots.

Roger in Republic

On the plus side, no actual taxpayers were injured in any of these incidents.

Graybeard

And I just love the way that “no-contact order” deterred the turd.

Of course, the homeowner may have been aiming to put a permanent end to the perp’s amorous nature – something SARC would find a fate worse than death.

David

and here in Texas the waterheads are wringing their hands over a clown who participated in an armed robbery that ended with the death of the store clerk – he got the death sentence under the “law of Parties” but the weeping and lamentations because “he didn’t even pull the trigger” are loud and strident. Some people do not seem to understand that actions have consequences. On the plus side, I strongly doubt he will ever participate in a robbery or murder again.
