UN invading Virginia
According to the Daily Mail, Virginia drivers have noticed scores of white trucks with United Nations markings on Virginia highways which has spurred renewed rumors of a take-over of this country by the toothless body.
Military U.N. vehicles have been spotted in Virginia, shocking motorists and sparking conspiracy theories.
The white trucks, equipped with large off-road tires, were seen being transported on Interstate 81 on Friday. They appear to be Alpine Armoring’s Pit-Bull VX SWAT Truck models.
Jeff Stern posted photos of the vehicles on Facebook, writing: ‘Can’t begin to tell you how many of these I passed today on 81 near Lexington VA. Interesting times ahead!’
I don’t suppose it has anything to do with the company that makes those trucks, Alpine Armoring, being headquartered in Herndon, Virginia.

What port would they be transporting them to and where are they being shipped to if going via a Virginia port. Only one inland port and that’s in Front Royal, VA. Opposite direction from Lexington, VA.

Duh, like the manufacturer is going to trailer these guys to the docks. They are made for road marches, unlike tanks, so it’s the least expensive way to get them from the manufacturing plant to their (probably marine terminal) destinations. Some people just don’t think.
Well duh, there are no marine terminals anywhere near Lexington, VA. Land terminal is in opposite direction at Front Royal, VA. Look it up.
Interesting point. Maybe they are moving them to a contractor to have (radios, radar, uparmor, weaponry) installed?

I thought, really folks? The only economic collapse the UN would be concerned with is their own, since they exist on the largesse of everyone else. As far as helping America with anything? Forget it. All they’re good for is running us down but depending on us to spend the money and blood for their ill conceived endeavors. I wouldn’t trust them to change my tire, much less defend anything in our borders. As for taking us over. Again, please. A bunch of hillbillies with guns and big pick up trucks and more tattoos than teeth have a better chance of taking anything over than the UN.
Back in the mid-90’s, early days of the WWW, conspiracy nutters would lose their shit when they saw M113s painted in UN colors at railroad siding. Cletus Spucker’s Trailer Park Militia was at DEFCON-2 thinking that any time the Blue Helmets would be kicking in their doors, taking their guns, hauling them off to FEMA camps and/or depriving them of their Precious Bodily Fluids.
And then some a-hole (sometimes it was me) would point out that the RR siding in question was adjacent to a US military installation where the unit was getting ready to deploy to Macedonia for a UN mission. :rolleyes:
I know I’ll be punished for this but I couldn’t help myself. I once had a neighbor who was convinced the UN was going to take over the US. I just had to tell him the German Air Force has a unit in the US. He told me I was naïve for thinking that wasn’t proof. To make sure I knew he was serious, he took me to a place in the hills where his band of militia was preparing to battle the UN.
I was glad I moved.

I believe there also was a Bundeswehr ADA unit at Fort Bliss, just down the road, back in the 80’s and 90’s.
Of course, the reason for the units being located in the American desert SW is easy to understand: Lots of unpopulated desert in which to fly low and fast and/or shoot missiles. The Burgermeisters and farmers in Germany get pissed when you do that near their towns and farm fields.

Ever consider the “troll” value of stenciling “UN” on various odd looking vehicles, or otherwise unmarked trucks.
Sort of a tinfoil-hat version of “where’s waldo” as they track these things hither and yon…
No stenciling necessary – any white 4 door SUV can be transformed into a “UN” vehicle with a couple of feet of black duct tape.
Put it on the passenger side and likely the driver will never even notice it.

It is probably better that they were discovered in Virginia instead of East Texas. Used to get my share of tinfoil hat questions over the CB about the UN & USA humvee’s on my flatbed trailer to the depot or from the depot to port. Had an individual that made a feeble attempt to stop me on US 96 with three UN on-board. And why I got along with and have a huge respect for Texas DPS troopers, too. One call did it all during those equipment moves, lol.

Intel reports that the vehicles were repainted overnight and now appear to be armored cars. The occupants are uniformed and armed. There are reports that several were spotted at banks this morning in many large cities. Speculation is that they have been deployed for unspecified action commencing as early as Friday.
