Brad Parfitt; stolen valor down under
Mary sends us a link to the story from the Australian Courier-Mail about this fellow, Brad Parfitt, who claimed that he a Special Air Services hero and he laid claims to medals that he did earn. According to our friends at the Australian and New Zealand Military Imposters, Parfitt was in the military from 1977 to 1994, but that he never served overseas. He claimed that he trained about a quarter million Iraqi policemen as a private security contractor, that also seems manufactured.
He blames his competitors for the rumors, the pictures of him in medals that he didn’t earn were taken “as a “subterfuge” to hide his role as a mercenary in Iraq.”
Documents, which appear to bid for security work in Iraq in 2004, falsely attribute Mr Parfitt with experience he never had.
“Mr Parfitt has served in the Elite Special Air Service (SAS) regiment of the Australian Army as an Executive Specialist for 15 years,” read the documents, obtained by The Sunday Mail. “Brad held command positions within Australian state police forces in Special Emergency Response Teams and Counter Terrorist Squads.”
Mr Parfitt yesterday confirmed he had never been in the SAS or in SERT but said the document was a forgery.
I wonder if there’s a Australian version of the Dutch Rudder Club, too.

That’s a pretty large number to inflate on a resume or even to make a bold claim.
He seems more like a phony from Florida.
How are his shovel dueling skills?
“He claimed that he trained about a quarter million Iraqi policemen as a private security contractor, that also seems manufactured.”
That would be 249,988 more than we paid millions of dollars to train in Syria.
BLOODY LYING SODDY WANKER!!!
He is using the Turd Bolling (Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency) defense.
Rumors spread by my competitors to discredit me, etc.
Dirtbag.
Cool. What a man.
Of course, it leaves me wondering just how long it would take to train 250,000 people to do anything – say, maybe, how to use a pencil sharpener. What is the average time it takes to train the task? Of course, you must add lesson plan prep time and other admin stuff to the total. That kind of thing. Is this guy even old enough to have trained 250,000 folks to do something requiring more than 10 minutes time, in multiples of 10,000 per class?
Combined both Recruit Training Regiments of the USMC train about 30,000 recruits a year.
Sorry, hit report instead of reply. Old age sucks.
So, if you made a you tube video of your awesome shovel skills, and somehow it got 250k views, could you claim you trained 250k people? 🙂
I get tired of people calling themselves “mercenaries” if they did actually work as security contractors overseas. Their job is to guard convoys and maybe even the chow hall, they don’t go around getting in shooting matches because contractors aren’t legally allowed to do that. I went overseas to help the military to do intel work. Does that make me a “mercenary spy?” lmao
Hellofaman! What else can I say? Let’s see, trained a quarter million troops in 17 years? Hmm…that comes out to be 14,705 trained EVERY year for 17 years?? Break it down to more understandable figures, that means he trained 1,225 EVERY MONTH for 17 years. Change the first word of this post to Hellofasuperman!
The unearned medals as a subterfuge to hide his mercernary work, that sounds plausible to me. WHen I am allowed out in public by the Mrs., I always wear my Pulitizer prize ribbon on my shirt to hide my activity as former Publisher of National Enquiry. In case you don’t remember, it was ME who discovered Richard Nixon was an alien from another planet.
Ditto for my story about a group of midget transvestites from Romania planning on taking over the world and eliminating anyone over 48″ tall.
Well, well, well…looks like old Birdbath has a kindred spirit in Australia. Parfitt, like his seppo soulmate, tried to sue the poser busting website ANZMI.NET for exposing him. The effort failed; the case was thrown out. So he gets front page billing there for a looooong time to come.
Oh yeah, I forgot to include a link to the original exposure:

Everything relating to Bradley Mark Parfitt, is illogical and does not stand the full test.
He wears false service medals. He never was a mercenary.which meant interactive combat. Training in peace-keeping is non-active Private security force is non-active. Training that amount of personel in the duration as stated, is impossible. Even if he had a multi-structured security force to do so. Parfitt admits he never had active service skills. Parfitt admits never being involved or qualified in CERT; TRG, or anything else.
I stand by my view that ilk like and including Parfitt belongs not just in prison, but a full-on military prison and that being a military imposter should incur the same penalties as for treason.
It matters not whether he had been in the infantry, nor for how long. His claims are deemed by his own confessions as false. HE NEVER SERVED IN ACTIVE SERVICE. HE FALSELY WORE SERVICE AND CAMPAIGN MEDALS. MILITARY IMPOSTERS BELONG IN MILITARY PRISON, SERVING MILITARY “ADJUSTMENT” FOR A PERIOD NOT LESS THAN TWENTY (20) YEARS AND NOT IN EXCESS OF LIFE IMPRISONMENT. THE FULL SENTENCE BE SERVED UNDER FEDERAL JURISDICTION.
PEOPLE LIKE PARFITT DISGUST ME. HE FALSELY CLAIMED EXPERIENCE FOR HIS PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY TO ACQUIRE THE CONTRACTS TO COMMENCE IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. THINK ABOUT IT. PARFITT IS NOTHING MORE THAN A FALSE GLORY HOUND, WHO HAS SPAT ON ALL DEAD SERVICEMEN-DEAD CIVILIANS-DEAD NON-COMBATANTS-DEAD INNOCENTS WHO DIED AS A RESULT OF A THEATER OF WAR.

My parents rented a building to Brad Parfitt a few years ago ,when he went broke he posted a warning notice on the doors claiming that “he and his partner were both Iraqi veterans and bikies and that no one was to mess with them”, also wanted to sue parents for $100,000 because they wanted him to pay rent and it caused him to go broke !!!!
All he is ,is a big fat bag of hot smelly wind ( the type that comes out of your arse )
Well, as was pointed out in the top of the post, the DRG has gone international. What shall we call them/him? The DRGDU (Down Under)? Of course, DU also has another meaning for those brave enough to read TAH on Tuesdays. Either definition fits.
So ok did everyone know the fellow who does all the investorgations on so called imposters is a pederfile. Two other investergaters who also help with the day to day running of there website are ex criminals who where in protective care whilst they served there sentances.
Hi all i have been doing a lot of research on a number of Military imposters to date. I have come across a lot who are and some who have been targeted for personal grievances. Further investigations have lead to the conclusion that Mr Parfitt did in fact have a company operated by a number of directors BLP International, a private training company registered in the United Arab Emirates, the company was contracted out to the US Government to train Iraqi police officers. The numbers of how many who where trained are unknown at this stage (TBA). July 2007 2 of 4 employees where ambushed 2 of whom where tragically killed. Here is a link to the abc of this tragic event. mms://media4.abc.net.au/winlibrary/audio/twt/200707/20070716-twt02-private.wma The parliamentary secretary to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, says there is nothing the Australian Government can do to directly protect Australians working in a private capacity in Iraq. “We provide them with diplomatic and consular assistance and also travel information about Iraq,” he says. “But the reality is if they go to Iraq as contractors they are going as their own security.” Hunt says the Government is not critical of those Australians who take jobs in Iraq as contractors. “They usually tend to be very well-qualified professionals, people who have had successful careers in the police and military, and we respect their desire to contribute to reconstruction in Iraq. They go with a great deal of bravery and also with extremely open eyes to the risk.” However, contractors in Iraq operate under few enforceable legal boundaries and several US contractors have been accused of acting unethically. Some have been accused of provoking gunfights and acting like a self-proclaimed militia. Others are accused of committing war crimes such as killing Iraqis during interrogation. Hunt plays down any suggestion of Australian contractors being cowboys or modern gunslingers, saying he has heard nothing to suggest that Australians have acted unethically in Iraq. “I am not aware of any reports about Australians being other than scrupulous,” he says. “There have been reports about some from other countries being a little… Read more »
