Saturday morning feel good stories

| September 19, 2015

In San Pedro, California, a homeowner is being held by the police after he found an intruder in his home and rang his bell with a firearm. The intruder was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital. I guess no one with a gun in California isn’t guilty of something or other.

On Thursday, we talked about a 59-year-old man in New Mexico who wrested the gun from a home invader and DRT’d him. Turns out that the victim was a stank-ass hippie and a pacifist, according to his lawyer, and oh, by the way, when the police searched his home, they found more than 200 marijuana plants. But, it’s funny how that pacifism dissipates when a criminal shoots you.

San Pedro, Californicate; where the crime is in defending oneself. Sad, but true, fact of life in the land of Fruits n Nuts.

Minor correction: the victim’s attorney said that his client was the pacifist.

Despite that, he managed to knock the weapon out of the now-DRT crook, grab it, and shoot the SOB.

Pretty bad-assed for a pacifist, good on him.

Oops, correction is withdrawn. Just re-read the story.

Not enough orange juice this early in the morning.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

While we in California do not have a true “Castle Law”, we do have the right to use deadly force in the face of death or injury to ourselves or others. But, it’s gotta be a crystal clear, cut and dried case of self defense, or else you will spend time in jail until they figure it all out.

It sucks, but it sucks less than other places.

Please, come through my door without my permission and if my dog doesn’t take you down, our weapons will. Why the homeowner was arrested is beyond stupid. Law says “you can do whatever you have to in order to protect yourself, family and property”.
