Monday morning feel good story

| August 24, 2015

From Chief Tango comes a story which happened in Phoenix, Arizona, where a homeowner stepped out of his house and three other fellows rushed into his home, one with a knife. The homeowner then drew his own firearm and plugged one of the men who is reportedly in critical condition. The others fled the scene.

In Las Vegas, Nevada, when two men invaded a home, 14-year-old Andrew Mason herded his charges, two six-year-old siblings, into a closet while he secured a cell phone and his rifle and joined them. When the men flung open the door, Andrew pointed the rifle at them and they un-assed the AO.

In Annapolis, Maryland, Delonta Alonzo Snowden was shot with his own gun during his home invasion by his intended victim who wrestled the gun out of his filthy paws after he shot his victim in the leg. He’s recovering nicely in a hospital while the police make long-term plans for his accommodations.

No DRT’s or even a DOT? Bummer! Oh well, it’s Monday, coooofeeee!

Twist

Maybe if there is a DRT or a DOT it should be called a “feel awsome story”.

The 14 year old did good enough keeping his younger charges safe, I am happy with that conclusion.

Graybeard

I agree. The 14 year old hero did not have to go through the trauma and second-guessing of having to shoot a human being.
If he had needed to, I’m sure he would have, and then had a lot of support to help him through. But unassing the AO is good enough for now.

But I thought Maryland was so strict about gunzzz.

A bravo to young Andrew Mason, who seems to have a very cool head on his shoulders.
