Monday morning feel good stories
Here’s another one from Harris County, Texas, where a man in his 60s found an enterprising fellow trying to turn his life around with the older gentleman’s car. the younger fellow then charged at the gentleman with something in his hand. The gentleman discharged his shotgun at least once which was enough to make the younger man DRT. The elder man’s son told the press that it’s the second time he’s been robbed in the last few weeks. Maybe he should put the DRT’s head on a pike in his yard.
Stephen sends us a link from Fresno, California, where Paul DeLeon, witnessed a woman being attacked by another fellow. She was being kicked hard in her head by the manly fellow.
Luckily, according to the article “DeLeon acts as a quasi-security guard for businesses” even though he’s homeless, he owns mace and a legal gun. He maced the woman-beater who threatened to come back and deal with DeLeon later – which he did, this time with a gun. He wounded Deleon, but DeLeon got a few rounds off himself and drove the tough guy off who led police on a high speed chase and has for the time being escaped. but the police claim that they know who he is, so it’s just a matter of time.
Nervous Ned broke into a home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where there were four adults and a toddler, but he dropped his gun and then fled the scene. They should have no problem finding him since everyone is required to be licensed to carry a gun in Philadelphia and they’re required to file their fingerprints, so the police should have him in no time, right? I mean, that’s why they go through all of that…to catch crooks. It couldn’t be to harass law abiding citizens, could it?

Only one of the 3 is DRT. More range time folks.
One DRT is better than none, looks like robbing elderly people is becoming more and more dangerous for the goblins every year, and it needs to be that way!
Yeah, looks like the old timer didn’t get (or more likely, chose to ignore) the Biden memo about firing the shotgun in the air.
He did… there was air between his muzzle and the perp.
A morning run, a large cup of Cuban Coffee, and the TAH Morning Feel Good Stories. All by 0630 hrs. Who says Monday is a bad day? Not in my world.
Never put the DRT’s head on a pike in your yard. It will attract hungry bears and carrion birds and then your neighbors will complain.
How about a billboard with the picture of the DRT? Gets the message across, no bears, no carrion birds.
Who will pay for it? Them things ain’t cheap.
One could probably get a Federal Grant…
The Crime Victim’s Compensation Fund? The shooter is still a crime victim.
Billboard companies like YESCO, donate their boards for a good cause. THIS IS A GREAT CAUSE ?
I like the Head on a Pike suggestion, it would have a deterrent effect that says “Medieval”. But it does bring up another question; why do most states have laws against abusing a corpse? The corpse, being dead, suffers no discomfort. His cares and suffering are over, so who is the aggrieved party? A corpse is not a person. It has no value beyond its ability to fertilize a small patch or ground, and that is negated by embalming. To my thinking these laws are religion based and have little reason for existing. But that’s just me, you may feel differently.
I like The Four Esses better. Any three of the four will qualify as a GO at this station.
Suppressor
Shoot
Shovel
Silence
This has the added benefit of NOT having to call the po-po to disturb their doughnut munching. Also, the Bad Guy’s friends, family, and other acquaintances will wonder about their missing friend, “Why don’t he write?” An excellent psychological deterrent against future thuggery. As well as cleaning out the gene pool.
You forget the quicklime part, WB. And a backhoe trumps a shovel all day!
But then again, living near the Bay, them crabs gotta eat, too.
“Why don’t he write”? Because nobody could read it, if he did write?
Shotgun. The weapon of choice for us older citizens with aging blurry eyesight.
We love our new guns.
