Tuesday morning feel good stories
Once again, Chief Tango sends us our stories for this morning; the first is from Ohio;
A resident of Starlite Drive Northwest shot and killed an 18-year-old Southington man who police believe was part of a group of three people committing an aggravated burglary at the Starlite residence.
Trent Hall of Braceville Robinson Road died, apparently of gunshot wounds, at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital following the 10:30 p.m. incident.
The Startlite resident, Benjamin Talanca, 29, suffered a “severe laceration” head injury in the confrontation, police said and went to St. Joseph Health Center for treatment of his injuries, which are non-life-threatening.

The next story is from Alabama;
Birmingham Police say a man shot one of the two men attempting to rob him on Sunday on 83rd Street South and 4th Avenue South.
Lt. Sean Edwards says a male was being robbed by two males when he shot one of the suspects. The suspects fled the area. One of the suspects turned up at another location with a gunshot wound. Police were called and put everything together.
The last story comes from Mississippi;
Surveillance video shows at least two men attempting to go inside the front door, but the doors were locked.
From there, Nancer tells us things took a turn when he says the man hopped the fence.
He says he immediately took action because he feared for his life.
“He went to the back and tried to break in the window. He was coming and he got a pistol on him and after that, when I saw him, I started shooting. I shot him three times,” says Nancer.
Around the time, Nancer says he shot the man, a man can be seen running to a car parked in front of the store.
He struggles to get in and too weak to shut the door.
The driver then pulls off.

Males? What species? Primate? Ursine? Fish, perhaps?
I’d be mighty impressed if it was a fish, given the lack of opposable thumbs.
Ahhhh. . . .Feel Good Stories I can really feel good about.
And the world is a more peaceful place. . . beginning now.
Given the decision by the Grand Jury in Ferguson; the decision to shoot the black thug and all the chaos surrounding this insignificant meaningless event. And with Rudy Giuliani being labeled a white supremacist for pointing out most of the crime committed is by African Americans – or blacks. Maybe the white people running the news broadcasts should begin to “point out” the racial makeup of victim and perpetrators so those watching can be better informed on who exactly is out to get them.
Update on the Mississippi story – looks like the robber paid with his life. He was already facing charges of setting a house and a dog on fire; his career is now over.
