We all know some anecdotal stories about veterans and good work ethic. But this one might just take the cake.

I do have to say I hope I never have to travel through the same town he works in while he’s commuting, though. According to the article, he still drives himself to and from work. (smile)

tell ya what, you take on the average Houston driver and I’ll take him.
Boy ain’t that the damn truth !!! These drivers are worse than even Atlanta for crying out loud !!! I stay off of 45 as much as I can. I do have to take it up to the VA though and hold my breath for the entire trip from Kemah !!!
I guess if you are passionate about what you do you get to enjoy it for as long as you like….
I’m hoping to retire around 62 from the manufacturing position and just referee soccer until my bone spurs make that impossible…keep my ass fit for as long as possible in my retirement years…

Good for him. I thank him for serving in WWII and hope he has many more birthdays to come.
