Kerry butthurt over Israeli criticism

I guess that John Kerry and the State Department are unhappy that Israelis can think for themselves and they know a bad deal when they see one, according to the Associated Press;

“Israel has no better friend, no stronger defender than John Kerry,” said Tony Blinken, President Barack Obama’s deputy national security adviser. He said the criticism of Kerry was based on “people leaking things that are either misinformed or attempting to misinform.”

Pfft. The US has better friends than John Kerry, FFS.

In trying to implement the cease-fire over the weekend, “U.S. Secretary of State of State John Kerry ruined everything,” wrote columnist Ari Shavit in Monday’s Haaretz, Israel’s leading liberal newspaper. “Very senior officials in Jerusalem described the proposal that Kerry put on the table as a ‘strategic terrorist attack.'”

The State Department claims that Kerry only presented a “draft proposal” for a ceasefire and I guess they’re upset that the Israeli government released details of the “draft”. That may be true, but I’m sure that Israel is busy destroying tunnels from Gaza and they don’t want their operations to cease at this particular time. The Egyptians claim to have destroyed more than 1600 tunnels between the Sinai and Gaza while hamas has been more attentive to the border with Israel lately;

Cairo has poured troops into the peninsula to counter a rising insurgency since the ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi last year, and its security operation involves the destruction of these tunnels.

The Palestinian militant group Hamas, which is the main power in Gaza, reportedly uses the tunnels to smuggle arms, food and money into the blockaded coastal enclave.

Even the Washington Post is ripping on Kerry. David Ignatius claims that Kerry has empowered Hamas;

Kerry’s error has been to put so much emphasis on achieving a quick halt to the bloodshed that he has solidified the role of Hamas, the intractable, unpopular Islamist group that leads Gaza, along with the two hard-line Islamist nations that are its key supporters, Qatar and Turkey. In the process, he has undercut not simply the Israelis but also the Egyptians and the Fatah movement that runs the Palestinian Authority, all of which want to see an end to Hamas rule in Gaza.

According to BBC, yesterday, Hamas broke their own unilateral ceasefire hours after it began.

So, this week, Kerry is headed to India to see how bad he can f’up relations with them and their new Prime Minister Narendra Modi. You know, because he did such a bang-up job with the Gaza thing.

Mr. Magic Boonie Hat isn’t as smart as he thinks he is and is only concerned with his legacy.

Right. And rabid monkeys might fly out of my ass on national television. Blinken is a lying assbag.

nbcguy54

With friends like that….

Nicki

Blinken is also the same guy who claimed we have no reporting confirming that Bergdahl is a traitorous fuckbag. Yeah, I trust him to tell the truth… NOT

Unpopular with whom, pray?

What were Kerry’s qualifications to be Secretary of State? How about H. “Wide Load” Clinton’s? Don’t know? Me neither. That got me to thinking WTF the US Senate was doing when the nominations were before that body for its consent part of the constitutional precondition of advice and consent. I mean, is it even remotely possible that 94% of the voting electorate would have voted YES to Kerry’s nomination if we had that opportunity? But that’s the percentage of US senators who did so in our name. Only three had the balls to say NO and two of them came from the same state, Texas. (Cruz and Cornyn. Oklahoma’s Inhofe was the third nay.) Two senators didn’t vote (Hoeven of North Dakota and Murray of Washington) and Kerry voted present.

H. “Wide Load” Clinton’s nomination went similarly. Again, 94% of the Senate voted Yea and only two senators said no (DeMint of S. Carolina and Vitter of Louisiana.)

In both nominations, America and the world got turds, career political weasels whose test of diplomatic skills seemed to be determined by how each pronounced the names of certain countries. So, while we’re giving Kerry his due, let’s not forget to thank the United States Senate as well.

Madconductor

And to think how close that weasel came to winning the presidency.

I just laughed at that. He would still have been better than the frickin idiot we have.

Hondo

Um, I think that was a different election . . . .

Poetrooper

We all owe our thanks to the Swift Boat Vets for keeping this traitor out of the White House. The Dems thought they had him greased into office based on his Vietnam service until his fellow sailors exposed him for the phony he is.

And don’t forget, if we’d had Kerry as CinC we would have had that other lawyer of sterling character, John Edwards, as second banana.

What is it with Democrats that they love phonies so much?

That’s easy. They identify with them.

Thunderstixx

I almost forgot, J. Lurch, Karry ho served in Vietnam, never forget that.
He was probably giving ovomit some head and forgot to take his teeth out so oblowme smacked him a couple of times !!!
Remember, he served in Vietnam !!!

Climb to Glory

Maybe he should channel “Jangiss Conn” when dealing with foreign dignitaries. He has experienced that type of behavior in Vietnam.

Hondo

I do wish everyone would get the “Jengis Khan” part right.

Kerry was merely relating his experiences in Saigon on liberty one weekend. He shacked up with two . . . central Asian beauties, Jenny and Giselle Khan, over that weekend.

He meant to say “Jen and Gis Khan”. He merely slurred his words, saying “Jen’n Gis Khan” instead.

FatCircles0311

lol this is the second picture you’ve used showing Kerry with a black eye. Did he get some social justice from sons of Obama or what?

“Who — or what — hit him? Aides were vague on details; no word on where the game took place, if he sought treatment or how he got whacked. […] Update 4:20 p.m.: No stick, puck or fist is to blame for the senator’s shiners: We’ve learned that the injury happened when he fell amid a multi-player pile-up during an annual game with friends around New Year’s.”

I got that stuff from the linked site where you got the pic, Jonn. Nobody had any details of the hockey injury and then it’s attributed to a player pileup around New Year’s Eve. New Year’s Eve? My money says he fell down drunk somewhere or got whacked with a bottle of ketchup. Hockey is a man’s sport and we’re talking about Kerry here.
