This story comes from San Antonio where a man awoke to the sound and flashing lights of his alarm system. As he bound from his bed, firearm in hand, the burglar beat feet for the door, but the homeowner unleashed a few rounds in his direction and punctuated the escape as the intruder left with an arm load of electronics and uninjured;

Caliber check and more range time needed.
But we really can’t fault the homeowner, woken out of a sound sleep and still groggy. But what took the alarm system so long to go off?

B Woodman…Roger that! +1. I say no less than a .45, hollow point rounds and if I can’t get the job done with two center mass…than it’s one to the melon. I’m too old to run (and it’s just not in my nature to do so) and to impatient anymore to screw around with some thug in my home.
