Ronald Lee Paul; phony POW
Scotty sent us his research on one Ronald Lee Paul of Troy, New York who drove around in his white 2002 Chevy van with his POW plates.
According to New York State, the requirements for applying for a POW license plate you need a; “copy of DD-214 or letter from Veterans Administration verifying Former POW status.” So how does Ronnie stack up to that?
His long and distinguished career was about a year long, but about six months of that was as a deserter. I guess he figured that a stint in the local confinement facility during the Vietnam War made him a prisoner of war;
Scotty has stuff on his address and some more of his claims so you should click over and read the rest. I can’t see all of the stuff that he’s wearing on his shoulder in the top picture, but I’m thinking that the rifle isn’t the heaviest thing on his shoulder.

Or maybe they just have little tiny dicks.
He was not a “Prisoner of War”; he’s a “Prisoner on a Warrant”…
Piece. Of. Shit. There goes another poser whose poop pipe is gonna get straightened out by Bubba, Thor, and the rest of his cell block once they’re done!!!
That license plate needs changed to one word (DESERTER) !
Quick question: What is the “USARECSTA Ft Dix” that he was assigned to for over 2 years (1962 to 1964?) Was this some kind of reserve list or something like DEP? It appears to predate his (abbreviated) military career.
This is completely off topic, but I was just on Dalton Coldiron’s facebook page, and his sister posted something on there which is public. To everyone. Meaning anyone can comment on it.
You guys thinking what I’m thinkin?
Turd.
I’m in a foul mood today, for some reason.
Can I go kick this wanker’s nuts up to the roof of his mouth?
@10–you could if he had any.
@8
Oh hell naw. I TOTALLY want to post something like…”you’re a little varmint anus tonguing, pole smoking, wanna be.
You couldn’t even toss Psul K Wickre’s salad right.”
Just in case anyone was wondering: there was precisely one US POW/MIA returned from Vietnam with the last name “Paul”. That was Capt Craig A. Paul, USAF. He did not return home alive.
Capt Paul was the Electronic Warfare Officer on a B-52G lost over Hanoi, North Vietnam, on 20 December 1972. His remains were returned to US control on 30 September 1977 and were formally identified on 26 October 1977.
One US MIA remains unaccounted for from the Vietnam War with the last name “Paul” – WO1 James Lee Paul, US Army, lost when his AH-1 crashed near Khe Sanh, South Vietnam on 5 February 1971. To date, his remains have not been recovered.

This guy? Screw this lying asshole of a fake POW.
@7: Could it be a typo? The way it looks, he only spent a month in basic training, which wasn’t the norm, even back then.
Also; it appears that he spent a grand total of a month at Ft. Eusless before going over the hill. The rest of it looks like he spent either on the run or in detention.
It would be nice if we could just issue general purpose 4ss whippings to these j3rkoffs who feel the need to lie their 4sses off at every turn.
In lieu of that prosecution for fraud and a speedy conviction would be wonderful.
Ok, re-looking at the chronology; he went through bootcamp and AIT at Dix and then was assigned to a transportation unit at Ft. Eusless. He made it a whole month at his duty station, before the stress of combat got to him.
He’s wearing a Special Forces beret with an SF patch ascot. With the license plat, looks like we have a trifecta. Wonder if he has SF tattoos?
Fuck him and the state of NY for letting him get the plate.
@7: I think USARECSTA FT DIX was most likley the U.S. Army reception station at Fort Dix. I think the dates he spent at reception station might have gotten commingled with the dates he spent in the first beginning part of his basic training, thus, the long apparent stay at reception station (assuming “1962” was a typo and the actualy date was “1964”), and the apparently shortened period of his basic training…
At the very least he is guilty of falsifying an official document. In my state lying on a licence application, or any state form is grounds for a fraud arrest. I can’t believe New York laws are much different. Has anyone contacted the NY dept of motor vehicles? In my state there are several honors plates that exempt the driver from road and use taxes. Perhaps the state should recover any taxes or fees this turd has avoided by falsifying his DD 214 or forging a VA letter.
To be able to even get those plates through DMV he must have forged his DD214. But a Ranger in NY went directly to the DMV and got nowhere with them, They didn’t care.
So what’s the story behind the picture of him wearing what appear to be BDU’s topped off with a soup-sandwich looking green beret with a VN-era 5th group flash and carrying a rifle? Some kind of VN-reenectment? Notice the folks behind him in civilian clothes, doesn’t appear to be a “combat” photo.
Also, BDU’s weren’t issued until 1981.
Turd.
Looks like Saddam the Bowling Alley Cashier in that dream sequence from The Big Lebowski.
@ 22, Looks more like a Halloween photo.
I’ve seen Airsoft posers that look WAY more intimidating than he does!!
Weak.
Just weak.
Bag, Douche, 1 ea.
@22… 5th Group flash changed throughout the years… that flash he is wearing was still around in the 80s.
BeretVerde: bingo. Change back to the 1962 version (solid black with white border) of the flash apparently became effective in January 1985. From adoption during Vietnam until then, the 5th SFGA wore the Vietnam-era flash – which the tool is wearing above.

Sent an email with links and particulars about Ronald Lee Paul to the Adjutant for the NYS VFW, which is located upstate NY.
#10, can I watch? I have always wanted to see what that would look like.
