Friday feel good story
MK75Gunner sends us our feel good story for today which comes from Charlottesville, Virginia. Two armed gentlemen hoping to turn their lives around by taking the property of two University of Virginia students, instead of a nice, civilized armed robbery, the two gents got their asses stomped;
Police say the suspects, both from Charlottesville, had to be taken to the hospital before going to jail Tuesday night.
The robbery happened along the 2300 block of Fontaine Avenue. When police arrived on the scene, they found two University of Virginia students had beaten up the suspects and detained them.
Police say they do not encourage victims to take matters into their own hands.
You’ll want to see the results of this particular beat down in the video;
In another link sent to us by Mordechai, from New Mexico, a homeowner was napping when he heard someone break into his house;
The resident told police he went in a bathroom and called 911.
The resident said he then confronted the intruder and fired two shots at him with a handgun. It’s unclear how many times the intruder was hit, Drobik said.
The homeowner was “shaken up and stressed,” but not injured, APD Sgt. Trish Hoffman said at the scene.
The resident was being interviewed by investigators, and had not been charged with a crime, Drobik said.

I was just in the process of sending this to you when I saw you had posted it, Jonn. OMFG–HI-larious.
*WHOO!* Damn, my ribs are hurting, I was laughing that hard!! What’s even better is that while they’re in jail, they’ll be the laughing stock of all the inmantes being that THEY had the gun and got their asses beaten into next week by their intended victims! Bubba & Thor might be too busy laughing at them to have to pimp them out to the cellblock, thus their sore little asses might get away from those two!
I’ve seen pinatas in better shape than those two. Now mind you; the last line pissed me off a bit.
“Police say they do not encourage victims to take matters into their own hands.” Oh? So be a good little victim and get shot because the two men didn’t have enough money to suit the independent wealth redistribution agents? Screw you with malice.
Amen to that, NR Pax!!
The student body of my alma mater in action.
GO WAHOOS!!!!!!!!!
victims shouldnt take matters into their own hands? they should do what? just play the helpless victim and let these thugs get away with robbing them? this may be one of my favorite feel good stories yet. 2 unarmed guys beat the hell out of a couple thugs with a gun.
i guess its a good thing that it wasnt a scary black gun, it might have up and shot everyone on its own.
Guess those two dipshits should have paid better attention in robber school. Man I love a happy ending!!!
What’s more pathetically stupid than bringing a knife to a gunfight?
Bringing a gun to a gunfight – then getting it taken away from you and your ass kicked by an unarmed guy.
3 and 6 – I came here to say this!!! What are we supposed to do?!?!?
What happened to the country that tamed the wild west, the country that fought a war over a breakfast beverage!!!!!!!
Why is it that the cops warn the law-abiding “don’t take the law into their own hands” and ignore the fact that the criminals are doing exactly that?
The law belongs to US. We have EVERY RIGHT to take into our own hands.
a friend of mine who lived in Fairfax told me that VA law says that any one who commits a crime has no legal standing to sue. I do hope that is true.
Besides my daughter looked at the screen and said “Daddy- what eye!” Explained to my 2 year old that’s what happen when you forget common sense and human decency.
Thanks for the laugh John!
Let’s all be good little sheep…… The mug shots are the best!
DirtDart, before I moved out of CA, they tried passing a similar law and it was thrown out as “un-Consitutional” for some reason.
NR Pax – one of legion of reason I hate the land of my birth- If you needed a cold hatred bastard to nuke the state: i’d gladly turn the keys! And then sponsor a all you can eat and drink on river street downtown savannah. Regiment may drink me broke and bankrupt, but soo worth it
Hm. I stand corrected. The Proposition in question was Prop 213. The part that got struck down was that uninsured motorists being unable to sue for accidents.

That being said, I don’t miss the state very much.
When you only have seconds to live, a cop is only minutes away. We need some recruiting posters on The Lawn.
When will someone make it clear to the cops that a), they’re never around when the bad guys show up; and b) it’s America, and most people aren’t cowards. Besides, those two upstanding young (victims) were simply making citizens’ arrests.
So if I can’t defend myself, what do I do? Do I wait for the cops to show up and beat or shoot my attackers? Hell, once the cops show up the perps have civil rights. If I am shooting or beating the crooks our civil rights are equal. I have the right to fight and he has the right to flee. If he is too stupid to flee I can’t be held accountable for his lumps. Cops, in the main, are pretty conservative. I have no idea why so many in police leadership are so liberal. I think it comes from the compromises they have to make to be promoted by the political classes.
@16 NR Pax
I left Cali in ’79 and never looked back.That place just keeps getting more Looney Toons as the years go by …
@19 – just as in the military, after a while promotions are based on politics and city politics tend to be dominated by Democrats. In many/most cities the most senior guy is in an elected position. That’s why you typically see police chiefs
like the unlamented McNamara proselytizing for gun control and rank ‘n file police unions equally as opposed.
Wow! UVA students: 1200 SAT scores AND Mike Tyson’s right hook!
Guess that was a pretty good video. Wish I could see it.
OWB – http://www.nbc29.com/story/23292478/tables-turn-on-fontaine-avenue-robbery-suspects
you can see the results
Yeah, I saw that. Thanks, David. Maybe they had the video posted earlier and then pulled it?
nbc29 has a couple of pretty good stories posted, and the comments are good as well. Seems that the defense attorney is denying that the good guys are students. Not that I care. I do appreciate the writing properly referring to the victims as victims.
large cities, where the most crimes happen, are generally liberal. in Oklahoma, every chief i know is as conservative as i am
@25, OWB, the official defense will be, “they werent students, they are UFC fighters. our clients were only preemptively robbing them before these men could hurt them”
ROFLMFAO!! Seriously. My ribs hurt from laughing so hard. That was one damned excellent beatdown. If the UVa student victims can do that much damage when UNarmed, I hate to see what they could do when given a gun. And it doesn’t matter if the robbery victims were UVa students or UFC fighters. Robbery is robbery. Shazam! Thanks Jonn for the weekend pick-me-up.
Damn good defense, the students racooned both robbers . Got both eyes on the two! love it Joe
