Chicago candidate in the bag for millionaires

| February 27, 2013

As I told you the other day, Robin Kelly, won the Democrat primary in Chicago for Jesse Jackson, Jr’s vacated Congressional seat and, you know, since its Chicago, she’s a shoo-in for the seat just by virtue of her party. Well, she won because of the $2 million she got from Nanny Bloomberg and his anti-gun Super PAC, so she’s issued a warning to the National Rifle Association according to the Washington Times;

Robin Kelly, a former Illinois state representative, also suggested a head-on war against the National Rifle Association, according to a report from The Associated Press.

“Their days of holding our country hostage are coming to an end,” she said, according to AP.

Yeah, it’s a terrible thing that an organization that represents the voice of millions of Americans was “holding our country hostage” as opposed to one millionaire who uses his money to fight against the voice of the people and holds the country hostage to his eccentric behavior.

It’s beginning more and more like the Democrat Party is the party of the rich, doesn’t it? Between Hollywood, Bloomberg, Kerry, Gore, Soros, Buffet and the countless others who fight against the will and the voice of working Americans with their millions/billions of dollars.

I got an email from Mark Kelly, since I signed up for AFRS’s email list in the vein of “keep your enemies closer”. He called it a “big win.” Because a Chicago democrat gung ho to lick gun control boot is such a rare thing, apparently.

Par for the course for Chicago, where political favours and political offices are bought, sold, and traded more often than stocks on Wall Street.

Chicago is fast on it’s way to becoming the next Detroit.

When a dog growls at you, it believes it can bite you. It’s not just Chicago, or New York, or LA anymore. They are snarling because, some way or other, they feel confident of winning. It’s the confidence I see in them that worries me.

Can’t wait to see the reaction when 2016 comes along and his medical horse hockey kicks into effect. They will have a rude awakening…

Mrs. Kelly will be facing Republican Paul McKinley in the general election. McKinley’s the definite underdog, but he’s got a whole lot more fight in him than half the GOP in Washington right now. Very pro-2nd Amendment and limited government.

In addition to all the nonsensical gun rhetoric there is a larger message the Dems have done a good job propagating with out any facts.

It has been interesting to watch the Dems systematically destroy the black family without a whisper from the media. During this period the Dems have also enlisted some of the richest, most prosperous to fund their agenda. The Republicans have failed to understand the shift that was taking place, and allowed the Dems to paint the Repubs as the party of the rich man, only protecting the rich. Repubs do a really p1ss poor job of explaining what freedom to succeed and freedom to fail really mean. They’ve also failed to counter the Dems arguments regarding the Repubs favoring the rich. Keeping your own money as a reward for your efforts whether in an entrepreneurial vein or a coal vein is not a bad thing, failing to make people who actually work understand that keeping as much of their money as possible while funding those things we actually require. If the Republicans want to get another crack at the white house they better get on message before the uneducated masses relinquish all their God-given rights.

lol, they spent $2m for an anti-gun candidate to win a previously anti-gun seat.

And that’s a victory? The NRA didn’t even care.

NHSparky

Because that’s the ONE SEAT they need to grab all the guns, dontcha know.

@6. “Repubs do a really p1ss poor job of explaining what freedom to succeed and freedom to fail really mean.” Yes, they do–in large part because most of them don’t understand it and, thus, cannot articulate it.

Correction: Bloomberg is a Billionaire, not a millionaire.
