A TAH Exclusive Interview with Kaiti C.

Our buddy, Laughing Wolf conducted an interview with Kaiti C, the cheerleader candidate for the Indianapolis Colts who we’ve decided to sponsor. Your votes have boosted her into the top ten so she has a chance to compete, so keep voting;

A few weeks ago, you were asked to help a young lady with part of her effort to become a Colt’s cheerleader by voting for her — and you did so. Your efforts helped push her into the top ten.

At the urging of WOTN and Jonn, an e-mail interview was done with Kaiti C. so you could learn a bit more about her. The voting will continue up until the tryouts, and will gives the contestants a leg-up going into the in-person portion.

1. You were in sports in high school, what did you enjoy most and why?
Yes, I did soccer, track, and dance. I would have to say dance was definitely my favorite. In general I really like the team aspect of sports as well as the competitiveness. It is very rewarding when hard work pays off.

2. You were a Purdue Golduster, what made you decide to try out for the squad? What’s your favorite memory from that?

I actually didn’t know a whole lot about the program going into tryouts, but I just knew that I wanted to continue dancing. And now I am very thankful that I did! I was only on the team for two years but I absolutely loved the experience. My favorite memory would definitely be getting to lead the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The Purdue Golduster Dance Team is actually part of the Purdue All-American Marching Band and it was my sophomore year when the band was asked to not only be in the parade, but lead the entire thing. It was an unbelievable experience.

3. Why do you want to be a Colts cheerleader?

I’ve always been a huge Colts fan plus I love to dance and perform so it just seems like the perfect combination for me! I also really like how involved they are in the community.

4. The Colts and the Colts cheerleaders support a number of troop and veteran causes, what do you think of that and what do you look forward to the most with those activities?

That is one thing that I really like about the Colts cheerleaders. I think that it would be very rewarding to get to give back to the troops and veterans since they have done so much for us.

5. What are your thoughts on our troops and veterans?

It’s hard to even know where to start with this one. There are no words that can express how thankful and appreciative I am for everything you do. You truly are the heartbeat of our nation.

6. You have a strong fan base in our troops and veterans, is there anything you want to say to them?

I just want to say thank you so much for all of your support. The fact that you are taking time out of your day to support me, someone you don’t even know, truly means a lot.

7. What are your future plans outside the Colts?

I am currently going to school for elementary education which I really enjoy. However, I am also currently an intern with a wedding and event planner which I absolutely love. Hopefully I will get offered a job through this internship, but if not then I would like to be either a first or second grade teacher.
