Looks legit
Some love lorn woman in Austria sent me this ID photo of a guy she met on the internet asking if he’s legit. She thinks he is for real because he only asked her for $300 instead of the thousands that scammers usually ask her for;
There are no first sergeants by the name of Louis Morgan in AKO, not that it matters. He also sent her some stock photos of guys whose faces you can’t really see as proof that he’s in Afghanistan.
Ladies, a real soldier wouldn’t send you a scan of his ID card. It’s really that simple.

Any bets on whether the continent of origin is actually closer to Africa? The writer did not learn “English” in the US as a first language, and I would guess never visited the US either. In person, that is.
I went to john harris high school, in Pennsylvania form there I went to west point for 4 years, then from west point to Iraq
Well, he never said he GRADUATED from West Point… or, come to think of it, that he even attended.
I went to Harvard once….mostly out of curiosity. Then I left.
I bumped that photo up to 200%. It looks like the aiguilette on his left shoulder does not go through the epaulette on his jacket. I’m not familiar with Army shoulder ropes, but somehow that doesn’t look right to me. My drill team aiguilette from boot camp had the knot at the top, with the metal drop in front. Somewhere I have the photo of that.
