George Michaels suffers from PTSD
Yes, I put the “D” on the end of that because in this case it truly is a disorder. Old Trooper sends us a link to an article about George Michaels who cancelled his tour of Australia because he says that he suffer from post-tramatic stress because he had a bout with pneumonia last year says The Telegraph.
“By way of explanation all I can say at this time is that since last year’s illness I have tried in vain to work my way through the trauma that the doctors who saved my life warned me I would experience.
“They recommended complete rest and the type of post traumatic counselling which is available in cases like mine but I’m afraid I believed (wrongly) that making music and getting out there to perform for the audiences that bring me such joy would be therapy enough in itself.”
Yeah, OK, I just went through pneumonia myself a few weeks ago, and I’m telling you that if that’s all it takes to claim PTS, either Michaels or his doctors, or both, are crying-ass sissies. Nothing like lowering the bar for PTS so that anyone can claim it for anything as simple as lung congestion. I’ll bet it was tough choking down those big pills for five days.

Probably actually PTSD from all those random encounters in male public restrooms he’s trying to put out of his mind.
yeah… I’m not so sure it was pills he was choking on. Just sayin’…..
@1. Damn, Doc, beat me to it. I guess you could say it left a bitter taste in his mouth.
Public Toilet Semen Devouring. That’s about the only PTSD that c0ck $ucker has.
Now that is some bullshit!!!!
In fairness, if you had to watch videos of yourself in a band called Wham!, you might be traumatized too.
PTSD from no longer having perfect buttness.

It’s gone saggy.
Not that I looked.
Suuuuurrrrre you didn’t.
I have never heard of anyone claiming PTSD from medical treatment before. Article said his condition was life-threatening, but not what was done to him to cause PTSD. Some rough things can be done to you medically to save your life, but this is the first time I’ve ever heard of it causing PTSD.
Like I have said before many times, the concept of PTSD has been cheapened, not only among military, but among civilians.
People claiming signs of PTSD outside of the military is not new, but you have to wonder if the epidemic of military personnel claiming PTSD for getting a hand nail and the stereotypes of the crazed military veteran hasn’t rubbed off on others in society.
I threw up a little…
This is interesting! But PTSD is a serious problem! Did you know that almost 20% of the 2.6 million troops that are deployed to Iran and Afghanistan will be affected by PTSD… and they aren’t getting the help they need. This is an amazing story about a military wife that is fighting against the silence, really amazing… http://www.womenyoushouldknow.net/battling-bare/
