Since it’s Marine Week here at TAH
In keeping with our theme of USMC posers this week (it wasn’t planned, it just happened, trust me) TSO discovered a guy, Thomas Hughes, among his friends earlier this week who claimed to be a Marine Colonel, a lawyer, a doctor, an ordained minister and the CEO of a furniture store (which doesn’t seem to have a website) and he works at a security contractor. It makes me tired just listing all of those jobs, imagine his harried life.
TSO thought that is awesome that he had a “friend” like that on Facebook, so he told our buddy, Taco Bell at The Sand Gram who happens to be a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marines. You can read about the exchange and the hilarity that ensued at that link.
Apparently, Thomas Hughes is one of those secret squirrel Marines who aren’t in regular databases of Marines. Yet he maintains the “round Marine” physique that seems so popular these days. But, anyway, his Facebook page doesn’t say that he was a Marine Colonel now. Luckily Taco screen shot it for posterity. By the way, the Texas Bar doesn’t list him as a member, so I wonder how deep the bullshit goes on this one, although by looking at him you can probably guess.

Oh my God. This is the very same man that has tried to convince me to leave with him in a plane to Israel to help out the people there. He claimed he was a Doctor and an Ex marine and was a Col. And was in charge with the mission there in Israel. Of course I didn’t believe him. I lead him to believe I did. In order to figure out where to report him. He phoned me once from Florida. Yet claims his is in Texas when he’s in the states. He claims to be in Israel right now at this moment. He went as far as telling me I needed to pose as his wife once there or we could be killed. Man if you all could read what he’s written to me it would give you all nightmares. This man is seriously crazy. Beware of him!!! If anyone here has any more information on him please notify me at once! I need to stop him some how and I need to know more so I can place the authorities on the right track.

And who did he clerk for during law school? What firm? And when?
Karen, I suggest you get the media on this guy’s trail. Partly because he’s a nutball and sounds dangerous, and partly because they love going after people like this.
I do have to say that Col. Roundboy Hughes is inspiring me to get away from my desk and take long walks, in spite of my arthritis.
Once again, someone seems to be proving Doug Sterner’s argument that Stolen Valor is just a symptom of a more dangerous fradulent personality.
Oh looks at that…the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (which by the way, I’ve never even heard of a naturopath and apparently they are not eligible for licensure in all states) lists no Thomas Hughes. Imagine that.
Doubtful that this guy (who would have to be in his 60s at least) could complete a residency in anthing except for couch surfing let alone make it out of internship without having a MI.

You know he’s been deleted off of face book from what I can see. Meaning I think facebook finally removed his sick ass. I can’t be sure though. He may have done it knowing my background and knowing I would be the one that sent the police after him. I did in fact. I found out for sure what state and city he was in and I sent the authorities to him. And yes, this was a ploy for him and many marine posers to get woman and trick them into sex or something equally sick. I had also took this around to all my face book friends and warned them about him I had already had over 10 woman come to me with similar stories as mine. Some said he sent them pics of his private area. He still has a second face book account still open and the American way open at least they were open last time I looked.
And to the person who claimed he’s for real and is a marine squirrel…. Get some sense! If he truly was he wouldn’t be advertising so openly on Face book! Think about it! And, its simply not plausible for one person to have and still hold all of those professions!

Tell your mother in law to get away from him then report him! He is from Floria!!!!!!!!! Trust me on this! I had the authorities in Florida in his city pick him up last year about this time. His persona changes often. He uses his “Minster” angel to some woman seeking closure or some other type of ’emotional’ help. He uses his “squirrel” BS story for citizens who are looking to help Israel. He also uses his Dr. Persona to also worm into a woman’s life and gain her trust. He’s used so many I can’t even name them all. You see him just flat out report him! Warn all your mutual friends! And block the sicko! Also report him to face book. I imagine he found out that face book does ‘not’ trace IP’s. So he simply created his account over again and he’s back in business. Ugh.
Sorry that’s supposed to read above “He uses his Minister” “Angle”. Not angel. I am sure most of you realized what I meant. =) Anyway……… This guy is seriously sick! And has a record! He’s dangerous! If you or if you know anyone in contact with him warn them! Show them this page! Then contact the authorities! He’s in the state of Florida, “not” Texas. If you or someone ever received a call from the sicko and you have caller Id you can confirm just that! Take that number and call the state of Florida’s city he is in now and give them the number. Tell the police exactly what he’s done to you or someone you know. Maybe if they get enough complaints they’ll keep him in jail this time!
