The new National Commander of the American Legion
After a huge celebration and a prade, the American Legion has elected their new National Commander for the coming year, Fang A. Wong, a naturalized US citizen from China who served more than twenty years in the Army.

That’s semi-serious question, BTW. That epithet is being used in so many contexts I can’t keep track.
Shipmate, one can only be accused of racism if they’re white. Didn’t you get that memo??
Fang is my new boss, so obviously I am jaded, but this guy is going to be really good at his focus, bringing in new members, and setting up mentoring. Each Commander has his niche, and Fang is truly great at pounding the pavement looking for folks.
After his year is up, we can all sing,
“Fang’s for the memories. . . “
