5 arrested near UK nuke plant

| May 3, 2011

After their prime minister warned Britons to be vigilant for acts of terror, police arrested 5 men diddling around a nuke plant according to Reuters;

Police said the men were arrested on Monday after officers conducted a stop check on a vehicle near the site in Cumbria.

The men are all aged in their 20s and from London, police said.

Police held the men under section 41 of the Terrorism Act, which allows offices to arrest people suspected of terrorist offences and hold them for 48 hours without charge.

I suspect their names aren’t Cecil or Jeeves.

It’s a good thing that we don’t profile here in the US, otherwise we might have to come to grips with the truth.

I’m expecting that we will be getting a “refresher course” in our war against terror. I think the point was made in another thread…we’re going to be the front line. Again.

I had noticed the Royal Honeymoon had been postponed. The article I read said they had planned to go to Jordan. If that’s where they WERE going to go, I think when they do honeymoon, it will be somewhere else…

They call them…, ahem…, “Asian” youths.
