TAH in the KCS

| July 25, 2010

The Kansas City Star finally posted the story about Dick Stoops. Unfortunately, they didn’t include his name, but fortunately they made it a story about hunting phonies and about our friends Doug Sterner and the Schantags. The article also misquoted me – I told Ms. Kavanaugh that CPT Larry Bailey had to inform families that their dead father or husband couldn’t be buried with military honors-not me.

Otherwise, it’s well-researched article about some of the people involved in outing phonies – a club of which I’m proud to be the newest member. Ms. Kavanaugh has been working on the article since April and it shows. Good job, Lee.

You should read the whole thing.
