President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to detail the problems that unvetted and irresponsible immigration policies has caused to the United States. Trump argued that most of the 53 million foreign population in the US is on welfare, from failed nations, from gangs, from mental institutions or from drug cartels. Trump took aim at Tim Walz’s inaction against the Somalians who are “taking over the once great State of Minnesota.” President Trump wants to pause immigration from third world countries until the U.S. could sort this issue out and deport those who are incompatible with Western Civilization.

The official United States Foreign population stands at 53 million people (Census), most of which are on welfare, from failed nations, or from prisons, mental institutions, gangs, or drug cartels. They and their children are supported through massive payments from Patriotic American Citizens who, because of their beautiful hearts, do not want to openly complain or cause trouble in any way, shape, or form.
They put up with what has happened to our Country, but it’s eating them alive to do so! A migrant earning $30,000 with a green card will get roughly $50,000 in yearly benefits for their family. The real migrant population is much higher.
This refugee burden is the leading cause of social dysfunction in America, something that did not exist after World War II (Failed schools, high crime, urban decay, overcrowded hospitals, housing shortages, and large deficits, etc.). As an example, hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia are completely taking over the once great State of Minnesota. Somalian gangs are roving the streets looking for “prey” as our wonderful people stay locked in their apartments and houses hoping against hope that they will be left alone.
The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both, while the worst “Congressman/woman” in our Country, Ilhan Omar, always wrapped in her swaddling hijab, and who probably came into the U.S.A. illegally in that you are not allowed to marry your brother, does nothing but hatefully complain about our Country, its Constitution, and how “badly” she is treated, when her place of origin is a decadent, backward, and crime ridden nation, which is essentially not even a country for lack of Government, Military, Police, schools, etc…

Ideally PDJT47 should stop ALL immigration for the next 50-100 years from ALL countries, including the H1B visas, until all the illegals can be rounded up and deported (with the Dreamers), the US economy settles and becomes manufacturing based, hiring American citizens.
When US unemployment drops to 5% or less, THEN allow a few H1B in, for a limited time.
You may be looking at the wrong metric.
The US Unemployment rate is 4.4%. other than the Covid anomaly, it has been below 5% for the last ten years.
Wages however have remained essentially frozen. During the same period wages have increased 8.8% while price inflation has increased 37% over the same period meaning that the average worker has 28% less purchasing power than 10 years ago.

Trump and whoever crafted that statement is right on the money. The amount of welfare fraud coming from the immigrant population is beyond belief. In addition, we have immigrants, even the legal ones, engaged in insurance fraud in every state.
I speak from personal experience from one of my civil jury trials. Both the plaintiff and the defendant were Palestinian immigrants. Unfortunately, I couldn’t prove they staged the subject car accident because the defendant the insurance company hired me to defend at trial was one of the fraudsters. (I think they rammed their beater vehicles together at low speed on some back street and then drove to the scene of the accident.) Instead, I proved the plaintiff and his pregnant wife were liars and had not suffered the injuries they claimed from the low speed rear-end collision. The win was one of my greatest because the lying plaintiff was practically apoplectic when the jury gave me the defense verdict. Since my “client” was undoubtedly in cahoots with the plaintiff, I had sent him home and tried the case without him at the trial. I suspected he had a deal with the plaintiffs to a portion of the insurance money if they won, so he might blurt out that the accident was “all my fault” at some point in the trial.
I had more fun with that trial than most of my others. Several of the jurors wanted my business card after they were excused following the verdict.

My family is doing all right compared to many others we know. My combined income is higher than that of most of my friends and family, and I’m on the downhill slope of a mortgage when almost everyone else is renting. We’re not rich, and there’s a lot of work to be done around here, but there are people who view us as Haves. In other words, we’re conforming to societal standards while being of benefit (or at least not bringing harm) to the greater community. We have all we need, and much of what we want.
Then there are the Have Nots, as I call them: those who lack steady income, or even a place to call their own. People who have gotten to where they’re at by continually pointing fingers, failing to take responsibility for their actions, and blaming others for their lot in life. The Have Nots look at the Haves and think to themselves, “why should they have while I have not?”
When it comes to the US, the Haves are the common law-abiding citizen, while the Have Nots are not only immigrants, but any person considered to be in one of the numerous victim classes–particularly those who feel as though the rest of us owe them something.
America has enough problems without importing more. If one of my children starts making poor choices, I’m forced to deal with the effects of those poor choices until they turn 18. As a parent, I’m likely going to do all I can to support my child after they turn 18, though. It’s been a year since we welcomed my sister into our home for a temporary stay. She’s gotten a good job and has refrained from making the poor choices that helped get her where she is, and she’s looking for a place of her own. On the other hand, I haven’t spoken to my brother in over three years. He’s unapologetically hooked on meth and when we tried to help him out four years ago, it backfired tremendously.

So, my household does “right”, and if a member of the household starts to run astray, it’s our duty to help steer them back on the right path. If a loved one, outsider though they may be, needs assistance (my sister), we take them in with the understanding that it’s not permanent and that they have to help themselves get out of their immediate situation. We are not a charity.
If an outsider falls into the category of loved one but has proven themselves utterly incapable of or unwilling to change, we have no place in our home for them.
The US should take care of its own: whether they fall into my utterly simplistic Haves category or not. Welfare, EBT, hell even state-sponsored extended stays in walled communities (prison), and other taxpayer-funded programs should help fellow Americans, not outsiders who move to this country–legally or illegally–and often refuse to assimilate or even respect basic laws and cultural norms. Sure, “help” is subjective, and there is plenty of abuse that ensures that the “1st of Tha Month” (h/t/ Bone Thugs-N-Harmony) supports addictions and bad habits every bit as much as it does single mothers and disabled people. But at least it’s Americans supporting fellow Americans.
I probably sound incoherent to some readers, but before I stop rambling, let me say this:
My definition of Haves and Have Nots takes on a much different meaning when you look at other cultures. In places like Somalia, it seems that the Haves are all-too-often corrupt and criminalistic, while the Have Nots who aspire to move up in society learn what it takes to find success. You can import such people into this country, even naturalize them and call them Americans, but it will take generations before they forget the ways of the “Old Country”–whether those ways are considered good or bad by American standards.

My view is similar, but I feel there needs to be harsher consequences for people not trying to provide for themselves. The government dole is too much a crutch for too many to resist. Don’t want to work, unemployment, welfare, SNAP/EBT here I come.
I think everyone is both a have and have not. I have more than others but less than others. It is fine to want more or the finer things in life, apply yourself, better yourself, learn more, work harder. My issue is with those who don’t try but whine, play all the victim cards, and join the Free Shit Army. Our society wasn’t set up for half the country to support the other half.
