More class acts

| November 20, 2025

Nancy Mace, the Republican Congresswoman from South Carolina, has been inthe news of late. You may remember her here, when she launched an f-bomb filled diatribe against the airport police in Charleston.  She’s the one who advised the airport popo she would be arriving at a specific entrance in a white car, then arrived 20 minutes late at a different entrance in a dark blue vehicle – and melted down when she had no escort.

Mace has defended her actions, claiming her personal safety was at risk as a result of the mix-up.AP

Maybe from a short triggered cop she just f-bombed, but probably from no one in real life.

One  of her notable comments was to say “you wouldn’t treat a Senator like this!” which drew replies from both of the states REAL Senators, who essentially said that they had never had less than stellar service at the airport (and maybe she should watch her mouth?)  That lit her fuse, and she made some pointed comments that REAL Southern gentlemen would defend a lady, not criticize her. I agree with her 100%… but then, in this case she was not a lady. Other words like self-centered, entitled, foul-mouthed, low-class maybe, but not a lady.

Her latest?

“I’m not part of the powerful, I’m not part of the elite,” the Citadel graduate said. “I’m an island of one.”

“I don’t get invited to parties, I don’t have any friends,” she divulged. “I have a dog.”  The Independent

Wonder if her dog is female? If so, that makes two.

And Trump is getting some grief over a comment he made. During questioning by reporters, he shut off Catherine Lucey  (she reps for Bloomberg) by saying “Quiet, piggy!” The White House says she was acting inappropriately?

Lucey asked Trump a question about the Epstein files during the meeting. In response, Trump, who has now twice changed his opinion about releasing the files, distanced himself from Jeffrey Epstein and said they “had a very bad relationship for many years.”

Lucey began to ask a follow-up, saying, “Sir, if there’s nothing incriminating in the files…” However, Trump cut her off, snapping, “Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.” He then continued to address other questions.People

The man has the social skills of a five-year old – ad hominem attacks on anyone who disagrees with him, degrading people he formerly worked with, apparently just because they no longer are working with him. It is kind of surprising that after all this time, no one has tied to rearrange his dentistry. Grossly unprofessional.

And last we have Senator Raphael Warnock.  You may recognize the Georgia Democrat as one of the leading gun-banners.

Warnock has regularly pushed gun control in Congress, including co-sponsoring legislation to ban assault weapons and require universal background checks, voting for federal red flag laws, supporting stricter penalties for those who purchase firearms from sellers not legally allowed to do so and stricter licensing requirements for sellers, among other initiatives.

Warnock has never seen a gun control idea he doesn’t like. Seems he thinks guns are the root of all evil, right? Unless… they are protecting him.

Between January and September of this year, Warnock spent approximately $360,000 on security services from Executive Protection Agencies, LLC, an Atlanta-based security firm that includes both armed and unarmed options. Warnock’s office did not clarify what type of service he was paying the firm to provide.

However, the security firm’s website says it uses its armed services to provide protection for “political figures.” A Fox News Digital review found that Warnock’s campaign has spent over $2.7 million on private security dating back to Dec. 2020.  Fox News

My poor math says he is on track to spend $480,000 this year. Just under a half-million…on armed guards. Obviously guns are fine and dandy in that case. As long as YOU can’t have one.

A large part of me would be very happy if Trump did a Biden and faded out of the limelight while others executed the policies I voted for.

Marine0331

My take here (not that it matters) is that so very few in politics today carry them themselves with the diplomacy of generations past. Sure, Trump comes off as obnoxious at times but look at how the Demoncrats act almost to a person. They are lying, immature nut bags. When AOC and Jazzie Cock-et and Mamdami the Commie are the face of your party, you got problems. Real problems. Could Orange Man Bad be more diplomatic, sure he could, but he’s awfully good at everything else as a president and he has the brass balls needed to put this country back where it needs to be at the top of the free world. Right now, my major concern is the libtard and commie left gaining ground and taking over America, and not that Trump is acting un- diplomatic in his public facade.

I largely agree but, first I believe in treating people with courtesy and expect it in return. Yes, he has been subject to ridiculous levels of abuse. Like, unheard of and unacceptable. The problem is that one “quiet, piggy” (in minds of Dems) is equivalent to years of “%*^ nazi!!” by them. He can, and should, push back plenty hard without losing the dignity of the office. Raise a hand and say “hold on.” Whatever. Objectively, “quiet, piggy” is crass regardless of what he has been subjected to. 1) don’t be a jerk. 2) don’t give the Dems any free chicken.

If they show the manners of swine, and they often do, then so be it.

After all the evil shit presstitutes have done to Trump, “piggy” is kinda tame.

Prior Service (Ret)

Piggy is tame. He’s also the President. I am not defending any of the disgusting behavior by libs and media. I am saying he shouldn’t stoop to it, as good as it might feel for him, or how much it rallies the base. Arguing that your side should act like dicks is never the right stance. The right debate and best use of media is policy debate or pointing out Lib hypocrisy. Not giving Libs stupid things to get frothy about.

E.Conboy,

At least he didn’t address them as AHs! Not publicly anyways.

Marine0331

I agree with that assessment as well. Trump would give a better showing if he punched them back in other ways rather than doing it with memes and obnoxious rhetoric. He’s way smarter than any of them and could beat them without the verbal volleyball, but, as you said, he’s been beat up so badly by them that I think he just can’t help himself. But I understand that approach as well, to some degree.

rgr769

Ditto. Plus, I have no respect for these lying media propagandists that call themselves journalists or reporters.

E.Conboy,

Agree!

Old tanker

I agree that trump is no Reagan when it comes to press conferences and general public speaking. He really does need to change his “public persona”, but on the other hand, that wasn’t why I voted for him. His other actions are what I was interested in.

I would profess that mace, does live up to her namesake, a blunt instrument, not sharp at all and only functional in conflict. In her case conflict she creates herself. She should take the hint as to why she doesn’t get invited to parties and such. I wonder, if she didn’t keep the dog locked up if it would leave as well.

As to warnock, how does he afford that “security service” on his senate salary? To me it seems his actions do indeed speak louder than his words regarding the usefulness of firearms in protecting home and family. Hypocrite.

E.Conboy,

Why does he need such intensive security? He’s not so important.

One more ‘class act’ for you – congressional aide faked a political attack on herself:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/former-house-gop-aide-charged-044532927.html

SFC D

I’m going to bet you posted that in hopes that we’d react and come to this poor woman’s defense.

Surprise. She deserves every bit of punishment she gets. Now if she was a democrat, yes, people would line up in droves to defend her.

LC

I posted it because I saw the article shortly before seeing the “Class Act” post here. It’s an example of a ‘class act’ in the same vein as the others, and was posted without any additional commentary.

And no, I certainly didn’t expect anyone to come to her defense, because even though I sometimes disagree with the positions of people here, I obviously don’t think you’re all reprehensible partisan assholes.

Not everything is a political cudgel.

rgr769

If you see the photos of what she paid someone to do to her with a scalpel, you would know she is obviously mentally ill. What beautiful woman would want to live with those scars for the rest of her life —that is not a nut case?

ninja

Amen and Thumbs Up, rgr769.

You Nailed It.

rgr1480

Naw — I gotta support LC on this one. Bad is bad regardless if (D) or (R) follows the name. This woman pulled a play right out of Jussie Smallet’s book.

Army-Air Force Guy

Tawana Brawley, but without the “racism” or “Reverend” Al Sharpton.

ninja

Yep!

rgr769

But Tawana did her faux hate crime because she wanted an excuse to cover that she spent the night screwing her boyfriend. She was terrified of what her dad would do if he found out the truth. Also, she was not nuts, as shit washes off.

SFC D

Yes, bad is bad regardless of the letter after the name. But… D’s defend and re-elect their crooks, R’s generally prosecute theirs. I questioned LC’s motive in posting it. LC, I was wrong and I apologize.

ninja

SFC D, on what you wrote: “LC, I was wrong and I apologize.”

You are a breath of fresh air. You made our day.

Thank You!

LC: Thank You again for your maturity in your discussions.

rgr1480:

Yep. Yep. Yep.👌

Catherine Lucey used to work for the WSJ. IIRC, she has been one of the creatures with a very specific agenda and a particularly intractable case of TDS, evidenced by her … creative writing essays posing as journalistic news articles. Also IRRC her WH credentials were pulled due to her fantastical bordering on bizarre selective editing of WH events and briefings in service of her specific agenda of Orange Man Bad.

Unprofessional and uncouth to call her by that epithet, given the office of who delivered it? Yes. Deserved derision and dismissal? YMMV.

Still, I too wish Trump had a more functional editor between his brain and his mouth.

HT3

Yeah, DJT is rough around the edges, but what he dishes out is not nearly is bad is what is said about him. Ole Piggy is part of the apparatus that’s attacked him 24/7 the last 10 years that’s tried to kill, jail him, and bankrupt him. They talk all sorts of shit about his wife, kids, and even his dead dad & brother. He had enough of her bullshit…not like she was ever going to be nice to him anyway. Who amongst wouldn’t blown their tops sooner?

Those look like Muck Arctic Pro ST boots.
I’ll bet she can kick some ass….

Trump, and his anticstorm, is a very reasonable and predictable response to the psychotic poo flinging MarxMonkeys of the Donkpartei.

After putting up with their shit and abuse for decades, I heartily encourage Trump to dump on them, BigOrangely. Sir, can you dial up your antics please? They still haven’t had enough crap-back to trigger introspection and reform.

Tallywhagger

I wouldn’t mind spending some quality time with Nancy Mace.

“Ms Piggy” ought to be flattered that she was bestowed with a pet name.

If Nancy is too busy, Ms. Piggy would be a nice option.

Speaking of Nancy Mace..

“Nancy Mace’s Bid To Censure Fellow GOP Rep. Cory Mills Fails”

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/nancy-maces-bid-censure-fellow-gop-rep-cory-mills-fails

“A bid by Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., to force a censure of her fellow House Republican and remove his committee assignments failed on Wednesday night.”

“Mace introduced a censure resolution against Rep. Cory Mills, R-Fla., earlier in the day, accusing him of stolen valor among other alleged improprieties.”

ninja

Speaking of Stolen Valor…

Sheesh!

“Memphis Man Arrested In Stolen Valor Investigation”

https://wreg.com/news/memphis-man-arrested-in-stolen-valor-investigation/

“A Memphis man is in jail facing felony charges for impersonating a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, after submitting documents to the VA hospital claiming to have been enlisted in the Air Force for several years, according to police records.”
