Story by Devin Fry
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Fargo man was charged in federal court Wednesday with making threats against President Donald Trump and law enforcement officers through social media posts and his personal website.Andrew Walter Sandvik, who lives in a camper on his mother’s property, faces one count of influencing a federal official by threat, a federal offense. The charge stems from online posts made between August and October 2025.
The FBI investigation began September 4 when a Fargo Police detective notified federal agents about concerning posts on Sandvik’s Facebook page and personal website. The posts contained threats directed at the President and local police officers.
Court documents show Sandvik posted threats against West Fargo and Fargo police on Aug. 31, writing that “THUNDER ROAD WAS MADE INTO A LIVING CREATURE TO SHRED YOU IN WAYS THE UNIVERSE HAS NEVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE.”
A witness who knew Sandvik personally reported concerns about potential bomb materials after seeing a Sept. 1 Facebook post showing cinder blocks with bottles and “Danger” warnings.
A Special Agent with the FBI said in court documents that Sandvik’s online threats became more direct and violent over time. On September 17, he posted multiple messages targeting federal agencies.
“SECRET SERVICE IT IS NO SECRET I AM YOUR BIGGEST THREAT YOU BETTER GET HERE FAST,” one post said, according to court records.
The most serious threat came on October 18 in a post titled “Trump, Can You Feel My Footsteps Coming?” Court documents show Sandvik wrote: “Death is now marching towards the failed and weak Donald Trump” and “DEATH OF TRUMP.”

Moved out of Mom’s basement at least. Oh yeah, he’s an idiot.
The way my luck is running, if I was a politician I would be honest.

I suppose a camper is an improvement. And yeah, he looks like you would expect.
…because Mom didn’t have a basement.
AB Brother had a Colt Python. It was a sweet, sweet pistol. I wish we still had it.
Sounds like he needs an adjustment to his anti-psycotic meds.
And a long rest in a mental ward. The kind with locked doors and padded rooms.

That was a given.
The “enhancements” on the Colt make it ugly. The design is enough, in plain old gun blue. Colt is not worth the extra cost just to have their logo emblazoned on it but I guess that they don’t really five a “F” if you buy one or not.
At least Colt and I agree on one thing, I just don’t give a flying damn to pay more for their Python than I would for a 686 albeit I prefer the 586 for its simple beauty. Put that extra money into some decent .38 ammo and spend the difference at the range!
Factory engraving on any colt doubles or triples its value.
It’s a mystery, almost like climate-change or one of those UN sponsored things.
I once lived in an enchanted Massachusetts fishing community that was graced to have Kennedy era Peace Corp novitiates. They loved their logos to the extent of becoming Camelot unto their headstones–hell, their obituaries were free to non-subscribers of the local propaganda distributors!
