Concealed-Carry License holder injured in South Loop shootout, Chicago police say
CHICAGO (WLS) — A Concealed-Carry License holder was injured in a shootout in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood early Saturday morning, police said.
Police said officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 1300-block of South Wabash Avenue around 2:30 a.m.

A 35-year-old man was getting out of his vehicle when another vehicle approached him, police said. Two male suspects got out of that vehicle, took out guns and fired shots toward the man.That’s when the victim, a CCL holder, took out his own gun and returned fire, police said.

The victim, shot in the shoulder, was taken to Northwestern Hospital in fair condition.
No other injuries were reported.

I love how the leftist media talks about the crime increase that “COVID caused”. I’m sure the 23% budget cut from the “defunding the police” in DC in 2019 was completely unrelated.
August is the the one “quiet” month in D.C. Anyone who visits and thinks that the traffic, parking and what not are not-so-bad would never believe what it looks like when the kids go back to the indoctrination facilities.
Revoke Home Fool, it was never a good idea. They probably need to remap the area to exclude the residential areas. What a hazard that could become!
