3 Delaware School Workers Fed Takis with Hot Sauce to Student They Knew Had Digestive Disability: Police

Three workers at a Delaware elementary school were arrested after authorities allege they abused children with special needs.

Makayla Lomax, 31, Marrisa Johnson, 26, and Morgan Donahue, 21, are all charged with endangering the welfare of a child, according to a press release shared by the Smyrna Police Department in early November. Lomax also faces charges of third-degree child abuse and offensive touching.

It’s unclear if the suspects have entered pleas or retained attorneys to speak on their behalf.

An investigation that began in February showed that employees working in an elementary school classroom for students with special needs within the Smyrna School District would allegedly “throw objects at the students, yell at them, and call them names,” per the release.

According to police, Johnson and Donahue are accused of feeding Takis with hot sauce to a student with special needs in late 2022 knowing the child had a digestive disability.

Additionally, Lomax allegedly hit a student in the face and sprayed the victim with a water bottle as a “form of discipline,” police said. Authorities have not released further details regarding the investigation.

The Smyrna School District released a statement on Nov. 6 following the announcement of the arrests, saying the district was cooperative with law enforcement throughout the investigation.

“The relevant employees have not been in the presence of our students since the district was made aware of the alleged wrongdoing,” the statement read, in part.

“Most individuals alleged to be involved no longer work for the District,” it continued. “With regard to the remaining employees, the District will honor employee privacy rights with regard to separation of employment, and we will make our reports to the Department of Education’s Division of Licensure and Certification.”

Streamer Dies In High-Speed Crash With TRX After Fleeing Police

On May 10, 2024, a fatal high-speed chase in Atlanta, Georgia, involving a Ram 1500 TRX, ended in a devastating crash. Keiwon Tucker, known to his followers as (@32scammgodd), streamed his frustrations with law enforcement on his Instagram page, specifically about what he perceived as harassment over the window tint on his TRX. Tragically, the events that followed led to a chase that ended in his untimely death.

The incident unfolded on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, where a Georgia State Patrol officer observed the suspect’s vehicle at a gas station. The officer noted that the front windshield was tinted with dark film, violating Georgia’s traffic laws. As the driver left the location and accelerated down Bolton Road, the officer followed, eventually deciding to report the pursuit as Tucker’s speed continued to increase.

The chase escalated as Tucker, driving the HELLCAT-powered pickup, maneuvered through the residential streets of Atlanta, reportedly reaching speeds that made the pursuit dangerous for the surrounding community. Throughout the chase, the pursuing officer had to slow down at times due to sharp curves and heavy traffic in the area, yet kept the suspect’s vehicle in sight.

The chase took a tragic turn when Tucker lost control of the Ram TRX and collided with a tree on Bolton Road. The crash’s impact was severe, tearing apart the truck and rendering it inoperable. The officer on the scene found Tucker still strapped into his seat, with significant injuries visible. Emergency services were immediately called, but he was pronounced dead at the crash site.

A subsequent investigation by the Georgia State Patrol revealed further details that added complexity to the story. Tucker had an outstanding warrant in Douglas County for shoplifting. Inside his vehicle, officers found a firearm that had no serial number, along with two small bags containing suspected crack cocaine. This discovery painted a more complete picture of the circumstances surrounding the tragic events of that day.

The TRX, known for its supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® HELLCAT V8 engine, is built for off-road prowess and high-speed capability. However, the truck’s capabilities couldn’t prevent the tragic outcome of this chase. This story serves as a reminder of the dangers of high-speed pursuits and the tragic outcomes that can occur when attempts to evade the law take a deadly turn.

Woman becomes stuck upside down between boulders for 7 hours while trying to retrieve dropped phone

A woman in Australia became stuck upside down between a pair of boulders for seven hours after falling into a crevice while trying to retrieve her dropped phone.

Photos released by New South Wales Ambulance show the woman’s feet sticking out between the rocks as first responders came to her rescue.

“In my 10 years as a rescue paramedic I had never encountered a job quite like this, it was challenging but incredibly rewarding,” the agency quoted first responder Peter Watts as saying.

NSW Ambulance said the woman got herself trapped in the Hunter Valley “after slipping into a 3-meter [9-foot] crevice, wedged between two boulders while trying to retrieve her phone.”

Officials were called to the scene after the woman’s friends dialed an emergency telephone number following several failed attempts to save her themselves.

Crews that arrived managed to free the woman through a tight “S” bend over the span of an hour and moved an 1,100-pound boulder in the process, according to NSW Ambulance.

“The patient was safely freed seven hours after her ordeal began with only minor scratches and bruises,” NSW Ambulance said.

Watts said “we all worked incredibly well together to achieve a good outcome for the patient.”

However, her phone wasn’t able to be retrieved.

Woman instructed 10-year-old to kill newborn by deliberately dropping baby on floor: Police

Tara Alexis Sykes, 36, from Florida, is in jail after allegedly instructing a 10-year-old child to kill a newborn baby and the adults the child was living with through communications on a social media video game platform.

Sykes has been charged with attempted murder while engaging in aggravated child abuse, according to a statement from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation began on October 17, 2024, when deputies received a call from the Gulf Coast Kid’s House, a child advocacy center, about a 2-month-old baby who had sustained severe injuries after being deliberately dropped on the kitchen floor by a 10-year-old.

The authorities soon uncovered that Sykes had been communicating with the child via the Roblox platform, which features a chat function. Investigators claim that Sykes had provided the child with several methods to kill the infant.

The sheriff’s office said, “Sykes instructed the 10-year-old on various methods to kill the infant,” including drowning the baby in the bathtub, scalding the child with boiling water, and dropping the baby on the floor to cause fatal injury.

She allegedly went even further by instructing the 10-year-old on how to kill the adults living in the home by cutting their throats while they slept and burning the house down by spraying bed sheets with aerosol and setting them on fire.

The sheriff’s office confirmed that the 10-year-old did attempt to carry out part of the plan by dousing the sheets with aerosol but was ultimately unable to follow through.

Sheriff Chip W. Simmons expressed his shock over the case, saying, “I have been in law enforcement for over 40 years and have never seen anything quite like this. I am truly disturbed by the circumstances and the thought that anyone could think like this, let alone instruct these acts to be carried out. There is something really wrong with her.”

This isn’t the first time Sykes has been involved in a serious child abuse case. Earlier in 2024, both Sykes and her husband were arrested and charged with child neglect for allowing a 20-year-old man, who had impregnated their 14-year-old daughter, to live with them in their home.

That case began in May 2024 when investigators from the Department of Children and Families responded to their home after discovering that the teenage daughter, who was 31 weeks pregnant, was also suffering from malnutrition.

Both parents admitted to knowing that their daughter had been impregnated by the 20-year-old but failed to report the situation as a sexual crime. Instead, they allegedly threatened to kill the man unless his grandmother paid them $10,000, which she did, authorities confirmed.

Both cases against Sykes remain ongoing, and she is currently being held without bond in the Escambia County Jail.

Pro-Harris Actor Nick Offerman Slammed for Video Promoting Beating Senior Citizens Who Didn’t Vote for Kamala

NBC’s Parks and Recreation actor Nick Offerman is getting slammed after he released a new election-themed music video that celebrates a senior citizen being repeatedly punched and kicked in the stomach by a group of kids because he didn’t vote for Kamala Harris, with Offerman warning people that this could be their fate if they sit out the November election.

“You’d better vote / don’t let this moment pass / or future generations will kick your wrinkly ass,” he sings.

The song also advocates for kids to chase down seniors, flog them with their canes, and to even “break your brittle bones.”

Though the song was clearly meant to be humorous, its unambiguous threat of politically motivated physical violence — against senior citizens, no less — is backfiring on Offerman, who is a vocal Kamala Harris supporter.

Offerman’s video has generated ample social media backlash since it was released earlier this week.

“Kids kicking their grandpa? WTF is wrong with you?”

“Dems: Vote for Kamala or we will beat the elderly.”

“I think it’s time to drop a nuke on Hollywood.”

“So the heros in the story are the ones who beat an old man… are we supposed to want the things they want”?

“Vote for our chosen candidate or get beaten… great message.”

The blowback has become so intense that Offerman played the victim, accusing his critics of “hatred and homophobia.”

Woman charged with rallying friends to murder man in his own home after he allegedly sent her to hospital earlier that day

A 22-year-old has been arrested and charged with organizing a deadly shooting that took place Tuesday afternoon in the New Chicago area of North Memphis.

Brianna Lee faces one count of facilitation of first-degree murder.

According to Memphis police, a man by the name of Ardis Reese was found shot to death inside his home on North Bellevue Boulevard late Tuesday afternoon.

Reese was pronounced dead at the scene.

Family members told police that earlier that morning, Reese had been in a fight with Lee, whose mother shared a child with him.

Witnesses reportedly saw the 22-year-old walking toward Reese’s house with “a large group of males” shortly before gunfire erupted.

Lee told investigators that Reese attacked her early Tuesday morning, causing her to go to the hospital.

Once she was discharged, Lee said she rallied her friends through social media, who would then show up at her house with guns.

The group then walked to Reese’s house just a few streets over.

Lee told police that they knocked on his door and then broke it open after there was no answer.

She said that’s when her friends opened fire. Lee admitted that she ran back to her house afterward.

Lee is being held on a $175,000 bond and is due in court Thursday morning.
