Suspected burglar shot by homeowner on Southeast Side
Suspect was found with gunshot wounds nearby and taken into custody by authorities.

SAN ANTONIO – A suspected home burglar was arrested and transported to a hospital after a homeowner shot him Thursday morning, San Antonio police said.Officers were dispatched around 5 a.m. in the 2300 block of Hicks Avenue for a burglary in progress.
When officers arrived, they found a homeowner who told them that he had shot at a suspected home burglar, a preliminary police report said.
Officers searched the area for the man but couldn’t find him.
Police later eceived a call from a man nearby in a detached garage in the 1400 block of Vanderbilt Street. He told officers that he was shot on Hicks Avenue.
The suspect would be taken into custody and transported to a hospital for his apparent gunshot wounds.

HOUSTON — An investigation is underway after officials say two police officers shot and killed an armed man in north Houston near the Greenspoint area early Friday morning.This happened just before 3 a.m. at an apartment complex on Greens Road near Imperial Valley Drive just east of the North Freeway.
Houston police said officers were responding to a family violence call at that time. When officers arrived at the scene, they were flagged down by a topless woman who appeared to have been assaulted. She told them that the suspect, her 45-year-old boyfriend was still at the scene.
As the officers approached the apartment, they encountered the boyfriend who was on the phone and had a gun in his right hand. Police said the officers told him to drop the weapon and called for backup.
Police said the boyfriend refused and started walking away. He then walked around the apartment complex and through a breezeway. That is when he ran into more officers who had responded to the scene after the call for backup.
Police told him to drop the weapon, but he still refused. He then closed the gap between himself and the officers, who said they feared for their lives. They then opened fire on the boyfriend wounding him.

A pro-Israel demonstrator in Massachusetts has been charged after prosecutors say he shot a man sporting a Palestinian flag pin who ran across the street through traffic and tackled the defendant Thursday during a heated dispute about the war in Gaza in which the man accused protesters of “defending genocide” and calling them “sick.”Scott Hayes, 47, of Framingham, has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, as well as violation of a constitutional right causing injury, after he shot his attacker in the stomach as they tussled on the ground in Newton at around 6:40 p.m., Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan said at a late night press briefing.
Hayes fired his gun after the man made a beeline from across the street, tackled Hayes and knocked him to the ground before grabbing him around the neck on a sidewalk, video shows.

The state of massachusettes, like kaliphornya, oregone and washington are really lost causes. They don’t really belong to the United States any more thanks to the left wing infestation they harbor.
I’ll add Hawaii to that list.
That state needs to be removed from he US, given back to the Hawaiians, and made it’s own sovereign nation. To enter, you’d need a passport and a visa stamp.
On the plus side for the US (and a negative for the Hawaiians), there’s a lot of welfare that would stop.
As Greybeard can attest, in Houston the common nickname for Greenspoint is “Guns Point”. I once bicycled through the area, and was roundly chastised by friends and coworkers for being stupidly suicidal.
The guy tackles Hayes knocking him to the ground then starts choking him and Hayes shoot the guy to defend himself the gets arrested. What a state that is to live in. Watching the video will show he was defending himself.
