Employee shot, killed suspect robbing Maryland restaurant and assaulting employees: police

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. – An employee at a Capitol Heights restaurant shot and killed a suspect robbing the Chinese carryout and assaulting employees.The Prince George’s County Police Department continues to investigate a fatal shooting that occurred inside of a restaurant on Thursday afternoon. The decedent is 27-year-old Victor Rios Rubio of Capitol Heights.
Major Michael Ebaugh of the Prince George’s County Police Department said officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Oriental Express restaurant, located on the 5200 block of Marlboro Pike, around 4:40 p.m.
A man was shot and killed inside a Chinese carryout restaurant in Capitol Heights on Thursday afternoon, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities.
When officers arrived, Major Ebaugh said they found a man inside the restaurant suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say an employee shot Rubio while he was robbing the restaurant and assaulting employees.

I’m surprised that the Chinese restaurant employees didn’t take the perp’s body, hang it in the walk-in, age it, and use it in some take-out recipes next month.
The shooter employee needs to lawyer up. I’m sure some Soros appointed (s)elected DA will charge him for interfering with the perp’s right to rob others.
Adding some Rubio to the menu would have expanded the Latino Flavoring to the mix. Chinese Tacos?

Given that most restaurants and other food related providers are paid by cards now a days, why would some idiot think they would be a good targe for robbery. The local stop and robs are more into cash than those places are.
