Tim Walz introduced as ‘Command Sergeant Major’ at DNC

| August 20, 2024

Tim Walz was introduced as “Command Sergeant Major” at the DNC. People in the audience cheered as the woman detailed the things that Tim Walz accomplished.

Approximate Transcript:

Woman: I am so excited and so proud to welcome our vice presidential candidate, soon to be nominee for vice president, Command Master Sergeant, I’m going to start with the title, this/it is very important to me, the Command Sergeant Major, Governor Tim Walz, of Minnesota. Um, a well-beloved governor and he’s also the state champion…

Audience: Cheers

Woman: Yes?

Audience: Cheers

Woman: State champion football coach and now our joyful warrior, please welcome Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota! Thank you!

Meanwhile, Andrea Mitchell, of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports”, pointed out the fact that JD Vance was not attacking Tim Walz’s military service. Instead, Vance provided verified criticism over the way that Tim Walz described his service.

From Breitbart:

Klobuchar responded, “Well, okay, so, first of all, I’m just thinking, fine, you spend your time attacking someone who spent 24 years, 24 years in the National Guard, signing up, like so many rural kids do, when he’s only 17 years old, and people love the National Guard. They get that you do get deployed at times, as Tim was with his unit, to Europe, but a lot of the work is at home, protecting the homeland, tornados, floods, hurricanes, fires. Tim Walz has served our country valiantly, and then decided, after 24 years, to run for Congress and became head of the Veterans’ Committee. You contrast that to Donald Trump, contrast it to a guy that’s gone after our vets as suckers and losers, went after John McCain for being a prisoner of war, and it is the Biden-Harris administration that passed the PACT Act.”

How can you assassinate a character that he never had?

HT3

Klobuchar conveniently forgot Joe was “draft dodger” too. Somehow his childhood asthma didn’t keep him from being a high school football star, but it kept him out of the draft. The last Dem in the White House to wear a uniform was Carter 40 plus years ago. Not Slick Willy, not Hussein, and not Creepy Joe.

Army-Air Force Guy

Of course he didn’t bother correcting them.

KoB

“The truth is what we tell you it is, Comrade. Nothing to see here, citizen…Move Along!”

Good Bye, America…I loved you. All in all we had a pretty good run. I’m going to miss Her. I weep for my Grand Children.

Prepare…

SgtM

I got out a month before Bush 1 signed the stop loss order. When the balloon went up I was living out of a seabag in an empty room just waiting for my date to fly to Pendleton. I loaded my platoon on a C5 and walked with them to the bird.
They were all telling me to don’t do it (reenlist), man that was the worst day of my life. BSSG-1 was the first in theater for support of 3rd Marines. When they got back I was there partying in Waikiki with them. I have since asked some of the guys how they view my getting out. All say I was under orders and they waited too late to get me. Not a coward to the guys that matter. Walz orchestrated his own way to weasel out on his men. I vote coward.

Fyrfighter

This pretty much clears up the “is it stolen valor” question, doesn’t it?? worthless commie POS had the chance to correct this on the national stage, and he didn’t.. F#*K that guy!

Blaster

“ F#*K that guy!”. Again!!!

Tallywhagger

You’re not thinking about the wall of insults, are you?

Little Balls Walz is a disgrace to masculinity and humanity. He and Chelsea MacBradley should share a cell at Leavenworth.

Fyrfighter

Certainly seems he’s earned it.. though isn’t it a virtual planetoid or something similar by now?

ChipNASA

Just happened to be following along for once …. (Caught up on my reading) and I’m conflicted between dumping the entire thing on him and yet feeling somewhat hesitant to bring it up because even though the exalted As(s)teroid of Insults®™, which is now approximately 10 pages long, (Does that in fact, suggest a rethink of the nomenclature Fyrfighter?), I am wondering if Señorita Waltz is wholly deserving of its glory? 🧐🤨

ArmyATC

Walz is a German name, so I’m going with Feigling Walz (pronounced Vaults).

26Limabeans

Not to be racist but I knew I had
seen that face somewhere in old
WW2 photos.
Or maybe John Banner (Sergeant
Shultz) of Hogan’s Heroes.

Banner served in the Army Air Corps. Funny guy. RIP.

This seems to be the topic of choice for our SV…err…VP candidate. For good reason. Walz was no more a Command Sergeant Major than I was. Sure, he wore the rank, but I learned early on that there are paycheck collectors/rank wearers and there are NCOs. That perpetually pregnant E6 in S1 might wear the rank of a SSG six hours a day, but she carries far less authority and has much less respect than the subordinate CPL who works 0600-1800 daily. The dual-tabbed E7 is a cool guy but is far less capable than the SSG who preceded him as PSG and is easily seen through as being a stylish sort without any substance to his character. Unless I’m missing something, Walz wasn’t even a paycheck collector at the E9 level. Being frocked as a CSM (or 1SG for that matter) means that you wear the rank and [technically] carry the authority, but you’re still an E8 (or E7). As for breadth and character of service, those mean a lot but aren’t “Get Out of Jail Free” cards. Walz served 24 years, most likely well over 1/4 of his life, but when it came time to answer his nation’s call, he took the chickenshit way out. Why accept a position as a battalion CSM only to give it up months later when the battalion is slated to deploy to a combat zone? McCain, Kerry, and other swamp creatures earned accolades and endured inarguable suffering in Vietnam but went on to become the very types of people that many of us despise. Spending a few months in-country and earning fairly high awards doesn’t offset betraying your country as a rich-bitch husband, just as spending years as a POW before becoming a wealthy Washington elite doesn’t shield you from criticism. We came, we served, we conquered, and no one gives a rat’s ass about what we once did or were besides ourselves and our true comrades (many of whom are regulars here). Walz is waltzing around playing Big Daddy CSM when he was, at most, the background fiddler in the world’s… Read more »

” I learned early on that there are paycheck collectors/rank wearers and there are NCOs.”

I once had a young SPC appear before the promotion board, the BN CSM asks “SPC, tell the members of the board, in your own words, why you want to be a Sergeant”. He takes a deep breath and says “Sergeant Major, I don’t want to be a Sergeant”. He pauses, eyebrows go up on everyone on the board… wayyy up. He continues: “I want to be a Non-Commissioned Officer”. Pretty much ended the board right there, just a few very minor questions and out the door. Maxxed it.

Bad ass.

I got some question from a female 1SG about the right color of fucking lipstick.

SFC D

No shit, there I was, at the SSG board, I’d just finished, stood up to salute the president of the board (a female CSM). She hits me with “According to AR 670-1, what is the proper length of the female class a skirt?” I responded with the proper answer, within 2” above or below the crease in the back of the knee. She then says “Which do you prefer?” My inner 12-year-old was screaming “when she raises her arms, I wanna see panties!”

26Limabeans

I didn’t know it came in colors…

Tallywhagger

Which lips?

Hate_me

Concur, but I’m fairly certain Walz was actually provisionally promoted to CSM (wore the rank, collected the pay, etc.) rather than being frocked. I’ve seen nothing about him being AGR that seems unlikely given his day job as a teacher; AR 600-8-19 specifically states: “Soldiers not in AGR status will not be frocked.” (Section 7-10)

Of course, that doesn’t change the fact that he did not retire as a CSM and does not merit the title in retirement.

Peter the Bubblehead

I’ve seen numerous news articles that state A-Walz was frocked.

Hate_me

I’ve seen numerous news articles that state all kinds of nonsense when it comes to military details.

fm2176, Agreed 100%. When our unit returned from our second tour in Beirut I was appointed as the Machine Gun Section Leader, a billet normally filled by a Staff NCO (I was a Corporal), but I was appointed to this position because I was the senior NCO in the Weapons platoon at the time. I was not promoted to E5 and could not claim the rank of E6 just because I held the temporary billet of an E6. Sounds to me that this is what Ballless Watz did because he never completed the required courses to be a CSM. He knows this and yet he never once has attempted to correct anyone. He is a coward, simple as that!

“Walz served 24 years, most likely well over 1/4 of his life,”

It is a part-time job. According to my arithmetic, he spent 1,092 days on “active” duty. A three year enlistment is 1,095 days on active duty. Let’s not get all misty-eyed over his dedication and sacrifice.

A Proud Infidel®️™️

“State Champion …” Mmmmyeah, you mean the coaching job he had to leave because he got that DUI? I came back in after my IRR time was up wanting to get a ME deployment, thus I see “No-balls” Walz as a combat deployment-dodging wuss! He retired as an E8.

President Elect Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH Neande

“No-balls Walz”.
I like that.
Well worth repeating.
You can probably “out” the hidden LibTard by seeing who gets upset when you say that.

Works balls Walz works too… (horse balls apparently)

A Proud Infidel®™

EVERYBODY PLEASE FEEL FREE to share “No-balls” Walz every chance you get on any and all social media, let’s see just how many leftards we can thoroughly piss off with that!

26Limabeans

Somebody should compose a dance for the ball.

fm2176

Well, I watched the rest of the story, and hereby rescind all criticism of the Pasta Traumatic Stress Disorder candidate: Walz of Duty: Stolen Valor – YouTube

Wonder if he’ll have flashbacks to “the sh*t” he wasn’t in.

SgtM

And there I was in the Mange’ Cucina’ in Caggiano, the waitress spilled a big ole platter of spaghetti and meatballs all over me. I could of swore it was my blood and guts decorating up the place. Then I had more chianti to calm my tremors and heightened sense of awareness.

Tampon Timmy

Now we know how he got his PTS of D.

I think you mean he has an STD from Willie B’s GF.

He doesn’t even rate this…

George Patton would have slapped the dog shit out of that cretin asshole, in front of God, family and country.

Private Fredo has it coming.

Considering all, Walz can eat a bag ‘o dicks. If he hasn’t already.

E8 (Retired) Walz may ingesteth a satchel of Richards.

A Proud Infidel®™

I still have more respect for E8 Moerk than I do for E8 (Retired) Tim Walz.

rgr769

I would like to ask Ms. Klobuchar what were the perilous or frightening circumstances which were confronted by Tampon Timmy when he behaved so “valiantly.”

26Limabeans

From SgtM’s comment above:

“tremors and heightened sense of awareness”

USMC Steve

Well, he didn’t do 24 years in the Guard. He did like 40 days a year times 24 years with the Guard. That would tally up to 960 actual days doing Army things over that period. Not too challenging.

Tallywhagger

Amen.

Tallywhagger

We called them Nixon’s Girls, at least the drill sergeants did 🙂

timactual

You forgot the 180 days active duty in Italy. I got 1,092 total days.

ChipNASA

Dude,
Curiousity got the better of me…I had to go look at my PCARS rip…I think I had about 3,076 points.

SFC D

Aaaand he was just introduced as a CSM at the convention. Again. By his wife.

Fyrfighter

Dems can’t help lying. it’s all they know how to do.
