UPDATE: Fatal Shooting in Trenton Under Investigation After Homeowner Opens Fire

By: Najla Alexander
Authorities in Mercer County announced that the Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Sunday evening in the city. County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported that at approximately 10:25 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, Trenton patrol units responded to Bert Avenue on a shooting in progress.

Trenton detectives in the area on an unrelated assignment located the victim on the ground on St. Francis Avenue, officials stated.

According to officials, the victim, identified as Andray Ingram, 34, of Trenton, sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a Bert Avenue homeowner fired multiple shots with a firearm he had in his home at an unknown individual with a hammer who was banging on his front door and smashing his Ring camera, officials say.

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Officers with the North Charleston Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a 38-year-old man dead Monday night.

An incident report states police responded at 9:02 p.m. to a home on Ginger Lane where the shooting had been reported.

Police found the man, whose name has not yet been released by the coroner’s office, lying in a doorway at the side of the home. EMS took the man to an area hospital where he died, police spokesman Harve Jacobs said.

An incident report states the man’s wife said she and the victim had argued earlier that morning and that he left for work and called her three times. She told police that he became upset when she did not answer the phone and that he returned hours later and was banging on the front bedroom window.

The woman told police she let him in and he told her he needed a tool for work, which he took and returned to his truck.

The report states the woman told police that while the man sat in the driveway for “a period of time,” the woman hid knives in the house and removed the victim’s firearm that he kept in a nightstand to hide them, which she said was because he threatened her with weapons in other domestic disputes.

No restraining order required, and who had “Hammer to a Gun Fight” this week? Thanks again, Gun Bunny.

If the voters really understood what we were up to they’d vote us out of office.

I believe it was “Caje” (Pierre Jalbert) that carried a BAR in
the tv series Combat.

No, it was Kirby.

Correct. Here is Kirby with the BAR:

That was a great series. I have probably seen all episodes at least twice. All terrific actors and realistic scenarios.

Adding this “hammer to a gun fight” to the T2NB2AGF files. I think we’ve already done one before, but until I can compile and collate, better to be safe than sorry.

Shot the BAR Off of the USS Okinawa LPH 3 Fantail while underway along with the other WW2 small arms we had aboard at different times while underway.

Neither Mr. Ingram nor the abusive husband in Carilacky were the “victim” here. Tho one could make the argument that both were a “victim” of their own stupidity.

Wonder when the demonrats are gonna take RB’s name off of all the monuments to him? Oh…wait…Never mind.

“…a legendary American gun designer…” “…a marvelous rifle…” “…no other arm of this type equal to John Browning’s automatic rifle.” “…yet another testament to the genius of John Moses Browning.” Howitzer Be His Name!

Our Beloved AW1Ed, late in the evening as he is preparing the next day’s FGS…”Hmmm…what can I post that will (a) Keep the Gun Bunny Occupied for a good while and (b) show him how much I love him and want him to be happy?” He knows me too well. It ain’t easy being easy (ht2 Janie Fricke).
