Oppose firearm regulations? You’re potentially a domestic terrorist!
The House Judiciary Committee released an interim report on March 6, 2024. This report focused on the weaponization of the federal government and focuses on government spying on private citizens. The FBI and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network had meetings with financial institutions to include Barclays, Charles Schwab, Bank of America, PayPal, and others. Those who expressed opposition to key Team Biden initiatives such as open borders, pandemic lockdowns, vaccine mandates, etc., were labeled as potential domestic terrorists.
From News Busters:
The House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released a 36-page interim report March 6 outlining the extent of the “mass” government spying effort. “This financial surveillance was not predicated on any specific evidence of particularized criminal conduct and, even worse, it keyed on terms and specific transactions that concerned core political and religious expression protected by the Constitution,” the report stated. One document shared with financial institutions by federal law enforcement “noted that those Americans who expressed opposition to firearm regulations, open borders, COVID-19 lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and the ‘deep state’ may be potential domestic terrorists,” despite them not having to be suspected of committing any specific crimes. The House report concluded that federal law enforcement used this Stasi-esque line of reasoning to “commandeer” financial institutions to conduct sweeping, Orwellian searches of Amercians’ [sic] financial data.
The FBI and the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) were both flagged as having multiple meetings with a litany of financial and fintech institutions, including Barclays, U.S. Bank, Charles Schwab, HSBC, Bank of America, PayPal, KeyBank, Standard Chartered, Western Union, Wells Fargo, Citibank, Santander, JPMorgan Chase, and MUFG. The purpose of these meetings were to coordinate strategies for the aforementioned institutions to “voluntarily” share private customer information with federal law enforcement “outside of normal legal processes.”
News Busters provides additional information here. The detailed report can be read here.

George Orwell sez…”I wrote a book warning y’all that this would happen.”
Bobby Lee said…”…adventurous abroad and despotic at home…”
And here we are.
Wake up, normies and…Prepare…The Republic you save will be your own.
Biden’s Ministry of Truth wants to have a chat with you.
Yup
‘Tis a fine line between “terrorist” and “freedom fighter”, feds. Our federal friends just keep on proving the need for the second amendment, but they’re too damn stupid to realize it.
“Shall not be infringed”. Shall not. Nope. Nada. No way Jose.
My understanding is the only one to comply was the ironically named Bank of America.
Hi OAM, (*waves*)
I know I haven’t hollard at you in a while but, question to all…
I’m trying to fine a website that designates “safer” options for financial institutions…such as the Media Bias websites….I’ve had BoA and I’m thinking of getting out but which institutions are “safe” and funcational?
I also have Ally Bank from when it first came online (great Savings rates) but am hesitant to move everything because Billing and the like.
It’s not like I haven’t filled out like a metric assload of 4473s so the government knows I lost a bunch of firearms in a boating accident like everyone else.
Suggestions or resources for research??
Might want to look into First Command Bank (in Texas, military affiliated). I’ve been with them for awhile (over 10? 20? years), and no causes for grief…..yet (I always say that, one never knows what tomorrow brings).
If they have political opinions, they keep it to themselves. AFAIK, they’re not “woke”, or DIE (not an error). Not anti-any-parts-of-the-Constitution.
Just look. You may be pleasantly surprised.
If not a bank, have you looked into a local Credit Union?
Scott credit union has done well by me, also military affiliated. Not sure about navy federal.
I know what you’re referring to. This site might be a good starting point: Mighty Deposits | Find banking that matches your values
I’ve never seen nor heard Navy Fed or the Marine Credit Union spout or publish anything that suggested they are woke. TRUIST Financial might be an option to consider.
Hi Chip (waves with all five fingers because, you know, lady-like) –
other good suggestions below, but also consider a mid-size, local community bank. Big enough to do what you need, small enough to be responsive to the community. Until it gets eaten up by one of the bigger boys. Thankfully, I’ve found one that is still regional and uninteresting to the big boys. For now.
If you’re in the Utah area America First Credit Union’s been pretty good. Good enough to keep an EOD parent using the account long after he bailed out of the state/to this day.
We use a local bank for our checking/saving, a local credit union for my brother’s financial affairs (keeps ’em separate in case of any audits), and a local Edward Jones office for investments.
I believe the credit union, at least, offers incentives for military. (Only being a family member, I don’t know much first-hand about the veterans’ programs.)
Thanks all and I’ve started the process.
I ended up moving over to Navy FCU based on what most of the Business and financial websites and rating and even (holds nose but still an information place, Reddit) all recommended and also mostly because they have almost 400 brick and mortor locations around but I did just make the big tech leap on BOA to facial recognicial and Apple Pay etc. out of necessity because I lost my ATM card and only had my iPhone to cancel and reissue and all that.
Eventually I’ll move all my direct deposit and disability and bill pay over…..but little by little getting away from WOKE shit.
ANY Credit Union is better than ANY bank. You’ll be glad you moved. I’ve used the same Local Credit Union for over 40 years while sometimes using a National and local bank. Fired the last bank that I dealt with nearly 20 years ago. Never looked back.
Orwell’s books were not meant as a how to, rather a warning instead. This admin hasn’t gotten that memo.
Yes, they did. And they laugh at the naivete of those who think it was merely a work of fiction.
They’ll make it work this time, you know!
Anyone who disagrees with Democrats is a terrorist. Got it.
Also if you don’t want your daughter raped in a HS bathroom.
…or your son, at the rate tranvestite story hour, etc. is going.
They can’t recruit from a hog’s belly.
I hear banjo music….
When groups like the NRA say things like “from my dead cold fingers@, it implies that they plan to take up arms against the legitimate government and makes SF86 investigators interested.
It is not the views but the methods that make someone be investigated.
What, pray tell, is an SF86?
sf86.pdf (opm.gov)
Questionnaire for National Security.
Thanks, but I just googled it. I see it is 127 pages long. Boy, that is a far cry from the about ten-page form I filled out for my TS background check back in 1971.
George – I’m hoping you’re not endorsing the line of thinking that limits how to express one’s adherence to the Bill of Rights. I’m not saying it is an inaccurate assessment, just that agreeing with it is disturbing.
I am very pro Bill of Rights but I am trying to emphasize that how you word your support of 2A can make you a target if you use language that can be considered violence against the government.
Advocating the violent overthrow of the United States government is not protected by the second or any other amendment as far as I know.
Correct. But if they declare martial law for some trivial reason(s), baiting them into a years-long ambush fest to seize their lobster thermidor and NY strips because your people are starving might be called for.
Allegedly.
It ain’t Francis Marion:30 hours yet but my watch run’ slow.
“Vote from the treeline!”
“If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man.”

It’s FM15 hours by my watch…
Prepare
Came across an ar 15 clip adapter that allows 9mm to be loaded. Will have to try to remember where I saw it.

So Charleton Heston was a radical? The guy that was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom? AFTER he said it?
One step at a time.
Never get on the train.
Not until you lose the gunfight.
Abosolutely Goddamn never…
Also ask the Indians (feathers, not dots) how that worked for them.
I really doubt they think everyone that goes against them is a domestic terrorist – that many just do not exist. Not plausible and they cannot be that self-centered and narcissist – or I would hope.
That aside, what really scares me, is that they are using that bullshit excuse to look for other things…things that do not need looking at: money, travel, status, family, personal traits, beliefs, history, etc. That scares me.
I will leave this for other, more qualified folks on here to extrapolate on these thoughts.
😅😜😂😁🤣
Possibly the new culprit’s, “white rural voters”.
What the Progs overlook, or ignore, is that the left has revealed themselves as the modern day descendants of the Nazis. Taking the side of Hamass and their desire to wipe the Jews from the face of the earth. Also, their masked offspring, Antifa. Although they’ve been somewhat quiet of late, they’ll come out of hiding as the year progresses.
Holy shit, I took some chance metioning my religion on this site and won’t mention it anymore because we don’t know who is monitoring this site and I don’t want any DC Reichstag Schutzaffel breaking down my door with Mauser rifles 3AM in the morning and giving me the old gas treatment which aint a 1950’s gas when your life is ended leaving others on the site to keep the punsters puns going.
This ain’t Jumpin Jack Flash gas gas gas!
Oh, you can bet that TAH is on the list. I use Norton for security and other things. Norton came out with a “new and improved” upgrade to their web security app. Upon opening TAH it gave me a “Dangerous Site” warning in bold red lettering. Needless to say, I deleted the new app. I’m looking into something other than Norton and am open to suggestions.
Norton tried to hit my credit card for virus protection software I never ordered. I disputed and changed my card number. You can’t get ahead but never fall behind.
Just had this happen. Looking into PCMatic. Any thoughts from the techno-whizzies in the crowd?
I have McAfee, and I have never had any warnings that TAH is a “Dangerous Site” or other warnings when I pull up TAH.
Duck duck go as a browser perhaps? I know it isn’t a security fix, but it isn’t Google either
What about a VPN(?) Thingy. Yeah, computer illiterate. On/off/TAH and a few other sites bookmarked is my computer smarts.
These are the people in charge? Can’t or won’t answer a simple question.

The Gaza “humanitarian pier” is because a parachute failed on the airdrop and five (5) “desperate” folk on the unsecured drop zone tried to catch falling crates of MREs:
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/gaza-airdrop-aid-israel-hamas-war-mishap-kills-palestinians/
It was only a matter of time before that happened.
And, what will become of this “humanitarian pier” after we pull out?
International Maritime Weapons Depot of Greater Gaza.
Most of it will be destroyed in the blast. The rest should burn merrily.
👍
Word
And illegal immigration.
In the 1660’s – 1670’s the Government of the Colony that became Massachusetts tried to ban trade with and get the firearms back from the local natives. One may ask Metakomet (King Philip)’s ghost how that turned for the colonists and the native Americans. The ensuing war was started by the leadership of Plymouth. For what it’s worth Metakomet was the sachem of the Wampanoag – sachem means the elected chief.
Wanting to live a free and safe life free from government interference is now considered terroristic and undemocratic? The founding fathers must be spinning so fast their coffins caught fire.
Will try to find where the WEF wants to ban home grown food because of global warming. No shit, they actually gave that as a reason. Will try to find and link.
Yeah, banks need more power!
It has always worked out to the benefit of all.
Wait wat? Next you will be saying that the interest rates are a huge quid pro quo hug from the Democrats. That’s just crazy talk there.
Jes’ sayin’…

If you want the government to respect your constitutional rights, you might be a domestic terrorist.
If you believe that elementary school children should not have access to pornographic material in school libraries, you might be a domestic terrorist.
If you believe that people who enter the country should respect our borders and follow existing regulations to apply for a visa to legally enter and stay in the country, you might be a domestic terrorist.
If you believe that people with a penis can not get pregnant, compete in sports specifically set up for women, or have access to restrooms and locker rooms designated for women, you might be a domestic terrorist.
If you question the results of a Democrat victory in an election, you might be a domestic terrorist.
If you digress with ANY PART of the liberal agenda, you might be a “domestic terrorist”.
