SAPD looking for answers after finding one person shot near post office on northeast side, officials say
Police responded to a call for a shooting in progress around 11:50 a.m. on Austin Highway.
SAN ANTONIO — One person was found shot near an old post office on the city’s northeast side Tuesday, authorities said.
San Antonio Police say just before noon, a man was at the U.S. Post Office on the 1900 block of Austin Highway, when another man and a woman walked up to him. Both men flashed guns at each other.
Eventually, one of the men fired, which began a shootout. Police say the 32-year-old man who walked up with the woman was shot and killed, and for now it appears it was self-defense. But, homicide detectives will determine the ultimate cause and have the final say. The victim has been identified as Juan Solis Sosa.
Based on information gathered at the scene, police said the 26-year-old suspect had gone to pick up his girlfriend at the post office, when he saw the victim with his girlfriend showing a handgun.

You got that right. I was in a little gun shop out in the middle of nowhere a few years ago and spotted that shape. The owner had it on consignment for someone who needed cash. 800 bucks. I said “I’ll be right back.” I figured it was worth the risk. I think someone referred to it as the ‘jigsaw pistol’. It lives up to that name. Several views of videos to make sure I could disassemble and reassemble it just check serial numbers and a couple of vital parts that can go wrong. I’ve put about twenty rounds through it so far. Lovely weapon.
