I’m sure Mr. Maddox is taking this opportunity to reflect on his life choices and will take a different path in the future.
Or not.
Homeowner shoots burglary suspect in Frisco, suspect now in custody
FRISCO, Texas — An 18-year-old burglary suspect was shot and wounded by a homeowner during a break-in attempt, according to the Frisco Police Department. The suspect, identified as Clinton Montgomery of North Richland Hills, was later arrested and remains in custody.

Yes. Mr. Montgomery brought a ladder to a gun fight.
Caution
No enterprise can exist for itself alone. It ministers to some great need, it performs some great service, not for itself, but for others; or failing therein, it ceases to be profitable and ceases to exist.

Apologies for the late post. Cascading failures, my favorite kind, have been resolved.

Hell awaits.

“brought a ladder to a gun fight”
I didn’t catch that on first reading until you pointed it out. Well done. Thx.
And just when you think you’ve seen it all, well…..
I guess there’s no end to the idiocy and incompetence in the criminal world.
Time to insert another page into the 3 ring 3″ loose-leaf binder set table top encyclopedia of T2NB2AGF.
Hell, Tox, that’s the FIRST (snicker) thing that caught my attention when I found that story. I just knew you would key in on the “ladder to a gunfight”, then check the coffee table book to see if it was entered into the binder. Sometimes the choice of weapons is as poor as their “victim selection” skilz.
Probably a good thing the site (or my inherwebz) was acting a little hinky/sketchy this morning. I’d have gotten lost in the rabbit hole of the gun pr0n and not made my escort duty/provision run detail. Our Beloved AW1Ed keeps posting these rather spendy boomsticks and The Gun Bunny gonna have to get him a side hustle…or rattle the cup…or…something. “…and lead us not into temptation…”
I can remember when Weatherby used to be the “interest” for a Certificate of Deposit.
Back-in-the-day, (certain banks? all banks?) you could deposit “x” amount of dollars, at “y” percent interest, for “z” amount of time, and at the end of that time, you’d get the Weatherby rifle in lieu of the “$$$” interest.
Good times.
Did I participate? Unfortunately, no. I was too young, with not enough loose spare money to play that game. Too bad.
Here is Mr. Clinton Montgomery’s mugshot. A friend of mine lives in that Frisco neighborhood.

Upstanding young man, isn’t he?
Ya, no shit. I wish I could introduce him to one of my marriageable daughters! He’d fit right in LOL
A face just begging for multiple punches at (in no particular order) forehead, nose, mouth, and throat.
