Robin DiAngelo, best selling author of  “White Fragility” told a panel of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) experts says racial minorities need to split off from white folks.

“People of color need to get away from White people and have some community with each other,” DiAngelo chuckled during a webinar entitled, “Racial Justice: The Next Frontier,” hosted on March 1.

Later on in the panel discussion, DiAngelo went on to suggest that people who do not concede to antiracist teachings do not belong in modern workforces.

Your homework assignment for tonight: Compare and contrast with Scott Adams, creator of the former best-selling comic “Dilbert”, who said that white folks should stay away from minorities, who has since been vilified, his comic cancelled, and his income destroyed because he is a “racist.”

Rewiring America is part of a billion-dollar dark money network and has been at the center of a recent move to restrict gas stove usage. Talor Gruenwald, a research associate with the group, was listed as the lead author on a study published in December linking childhood asthma to gas stoves.

In January, a member of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said a ban on gas stoves was “on the table” because of the health risks they pose to consumers. However, the CPSC backed down after public outrage and ridicule. Soon thereafter, the Energy Department proposed an energy-efficiency regulation that officials acknowledge is so stringent that less than 50% of the gas stoves currently in use today would make the cut.

Nebraska State Senator Machaela Cavanaugh has a nice hobby – she is so torqued over a bill blocking puberty blockers, gender-change surgery, and hormone therapy for under-19s in the state that she has filibustered every bill introduced this year.

“I will burn this session to the ground over this bill,” Cavanaugh told her colleagues in a February session, according to the Post. “I have nothing but time, and I am going to use all of it.”

Not sure what a legislative session costs, but I am sure the good citizens of Omaha are proud that to date the entire cost of this session has been wasted. I suspect that if the cost of the session was added to their taxes (and theirs alone) Ms. Cavanaugh’s re-election might be in some doubt.

Apparently one of the myriad apps, #CleanTok, is devoted to clean and organized pantries. Sounds innocuous, doesn’t it?  Decribing it as “pantry porn”:

According to Jenna Drenten, an associate professor of marketing at Loyola University Chicago, it’s definitely problematic.

“What lies beneath the surface of this anti-messiness, pro-niceness stance is a history of classist, racist and sexist social structures,” Drenten notes.
