A Detroit tow truck driver shot and killed an armed robber on Monday

An armed robber targeted a tow truck driver, ignorant that tow truck driver had a concealed carry permit and was ready to fight back.The tow truck driver shot and killed the suspect who tried to rob him on Detroit’s east side on Monday.
The fatal altercation occurred in the area of 7 Mile and Kelly, around 9:35 a.m on Monday.
The truck driver was allegedly meeting with the suspect to buy a junk car when he was ambushed.
Detroit police told Fox News Digital that they responded to an armed robbery and found one person shot.

Police say man with knife ‘charged at officers’ in fatal Barberton police shooting

A man shot by police in Barberton on Monday had attempted to take a woman’s car keys and “charged at officers” who responded, police said. The man, 34-year-old Zachary D. Zoran of Akron, later died after being taken to the hospital for treatment.Police said they responded to the area around 9 a.m. after a woman called 911 to report a man had allegedly followed her, threatened her and demanded she give him her car keys and other property. The woman was able to get into the YMCA at 500 W. Hopocan Ave. where she called for help, police said.
Police said Zoran was wanted on a felony warrant for aggravated menacing after allegedly threatening a family member in Cuyahoga Falls on Christmas Day. Zoran was also involved in a Cuyahoga Falls report on Monday, where he had allegedly threatened another family member, according to Barberton police.
Barberton police said Zoran ran from them when he saw them arrive at the YMCA, but then brandished a knife when they tracked him to a nearby parking lot.
“Officers gave several verbal commands to the suspect to drop the knife, but he refused and charged at officers,” the department said in a release.
