Fugitive murder suspect shot, killed by law enforcement in Kent

KIRO 7 News Staff
A fugitive murder suspect was shot and killed at a Kent apartment complex on Wednesday evening after a multi-agency task force attempted to take him into custody, according to the Seattle Police Department.

At about 5:45 p.m., members of the Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force attempted to serve a warrant for the man’s arrest at the Skyview Apartments in the 3500 block of South 22nd Place, near River Ridge Elementary School.

Upon arriving at the residence, law enforcement officers knocked on the suspect’s door and announced themselves.

When the man opened the door, he charged at officers with a knife.

A data point captured long ago yet here we are once, twice again.

Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it. — Thomas Sowell

Ahh, the 1858 Remington. Carried one for years as a Civil War reenactor. One of the few Civil War percussion pistols you could easily reload on horseback by merely changing cylinders.

Yep, have had several me ownself rgr769. Fine shooting irons and well built when back yonder when you could still get the Navy Arms, CVA or Dixie Gun works models. The Eyetalians make some nice ones too. Accurate as all hell when shooting live rounds. Except for them dumbasses that loaded too hot. Gifted a .44 to one of my LTs, a .36 (kinda rare for a repop) to one of my SGTs, and a Spiller & Burr to a deserving CPL. All of them have gotten rather spendy over the last few years.

A Twofer DRT and some pretty gun pr0n. Our Beloved AW1Ed still has that lovin’ feelin’ for us.

Pisses ’em off that Thomas Sowell left their plantation.

As the Gun Bunny Clan gathers for the food fest, evening last’s menu included cabbage n taters with smoked Connecuh Snarsages and a skillet of real cornbread. May be a BAR (Before Action Report) on the WOT today. A beef beast orast is percurlating lowly in the Crockett Pot as we speak. Bacon frying up in the skillet and pancakes on the griddle.

I would add to Mr Sowell’s statement, “or embrace it”.

As ‘Ed said (and those two deceased miscreants obviously didn’t learn in criminal school);
“Knife…….gunfight…….don’t”.
Class dismissed.

In another kind of FGS (I’ll send a link to a non-FB account when I find it):
An escaped murderer, a member of the Mexican Mafia gang, died last night in a hail of bullets.
He had escaped in May from a “chain bus” being transported from the TDCJ-ID unit he was normally housed on to medical care and been on the run ever since. That was near Centerville, TX in Leon County. Sadly, yesterday it was discovered that he had come upon an adult and four juveniles in a vacation house, murdered them all and stolen a truck.
They found him south of San Antonio.
Pray for the family of the murdered.
This POS is now standing before the Judge Who cannot be swayed, and faces an eternity in everlasting torment. I cannot say that it does not give me some satisfaction to know that this murderer of children will suffer forever.

Everyone in the AO will sleep a little easier tonight knowing the POS who shall remain unnamed forever is no longer a threat.

David

Damn…drive past Centerville multiple times a year. Hope this jerk burns.

Graybeard

Yes, David. Centerville (and Leon County) is a nice area, rural as the day is long. Lots of my friends in our Sunday School class are from there, have family there.
They warned over and over that the perp had absolutely no regard for human life. The gang considers themselves the “Green Berets” of violent Mexican gangs. He had killed several times before.
It is an object lesson on the type of creatures TDCJ correctional officers protect us from daily.

Houston Chronicle.
They aspire to be like the NYSlimes, e.g. have the texture and aroma of used TP.
