Biden pulls Chipman’s nomination to head ATF

This just in. Biden has pulled the nomination of David Chipman. He had previously been nominated to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). Of all the terrible nominations Biden has made (and likely will continue to make), Chipman was by far the worst. This is a win for the 2nd Amendment.
Chipman is a retired career ATF special agent. After a career of enforcing firearm regulations he became a major player in the gun control movement. He also drew ire (from both sides of the aisle) for not disclosing foreign media contacts and deleted many tweets and setting the account to private.
From Politico;
“While ultimately we weren’t successful, it remains essential that ATF is led by a confirmed Director who is accountable to the public and places no special interests before the safety of our children and our communities,” [Chipman] said.
Chipman is another Democrat stuffed to the brim with hypocrisy and no sense of irony. Chipman currently works for the far-left anti-gun Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, which is a gun control lobbying organization. In other words, Chipman is a devout member of the anti-gun special interest.

Notably, Chipman spent 25 years in BATFE (think those the the correct initials) without ever becoming a supervisor of more than a few folks. Multiple reports portray him as an abrasive bigoted jerk.
