Taliban Disarming Civilians; Should Be Lesson on 2nd Amendment
U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- Alarming reports are emerging from Afghanistan that Taliban insurgents now controlling the capital city of Kabul are “collecting weapons from civilians” should underscore why so many Americans fight to protect their Second Amendment rights.
Reuters broke the news that an unidentified Taliban “official” justified the gun sweep with this explanation: “We understand people kept weapons for personal safety. They can now feel safe. We are not here to harm innocent civilians.”
It is not reassuring that the report came at the same time The Sun was reporting, “The Taliban’s reign of terror has begun as fighters are reportedly going door-to-door with a kill list and women face torture & execution under brutal new rules.”

IN Afghanistan the minorities have already begun to be repressed: The Hazar living in Ghazni were reported by Amnesty International to have been ambushed and murdered as they passed through villages or went to market.
Liked the Heritage Foundation link about Mexico. loved the story about a kind citizen trying to pay for his gas offered to give the upset customer the $0.21 he claimed to be short changed. The jerk pulled a knife (clearly the change was not what he wanted…just the cash register opened). The kindly citizen then showed him you don’t bring a knife to a gun fight. The jerks girlfriend who was standing next to him, pulled her gun trying to show that a knife and a gun trump a gun. The kindly citizen then explained to them, that you don’t pull a gun and not use it…and promptly shot the girlfriend!! Both were arrested…and get this, the girlfriend had outstanding warrants! Who would have thunk…such a sweet girl.
Due to a leaky boat they won’t have to pry any firearms from my cold, dead fingers. But they will need some SCUBA Gear.
