If you’ve lost $80M worth of cocaine, inquire within

Police in Marshall Islands have located a wayward boat. If you’re the owner or operator of the boat, they would like to reacquaint you with your vessel. Give them a call!

After the boat washed up, which apparently a lot of stuff does from Central America, and locals were unable to move it, they called in the po-lice. The coppers discovered more than a half-ton of cocaine inside the boat. That’s a cool $80M street value. Someone’s going to be paying for that.

My favorite part of the story is this photo of a police captain pouring the bricks into a fire. No respirator in sight. Not even a COVID mask. *CORRECTION* Not even a Combat Cloth Face Covering.

“Mr. Biden? Yes Sir, we’ve found your boat.”

You’d a’thunk that a Naval Ossifer would know how to tie his dinghy to the dock properly.

Meh, that not uncommon. We had a shipment wash up around 04 and there were good times for many till a few didn’t show for work and others became moody. Several got fired and things returned to normal with just the normal alcohol fueled debauchery. The occasional kilo package buried under a palm tree is still unearthed every now & again. The larger drug problems out there are: alcohol, betel nut, and pot.

That police captain and his assistant better hope they don’t have to take a whiz quiz for a while . . . .

Here’s a case where the a person went to a police station to get his illegal drugs and paraphernalia back.

He is a sovereign citizen twit named “Robbie” who was in a car that was stopped for invalid plates in Kansas. He had marijuana and a pipe which the police seized. He then went to a police station demanding the illegal stuff back on the theory that just because he was in Kansas, Kansas laws do not apply to him.

The officer that talked to him was pleasant and more than professional, but it is a fascinating look into the “mind” of a “sovereign citizen.”

You can watch the video here if you’d like: https://youtu.be/1QR8wCY0mEc

(Just be prepared to want to walk up to the little snotty kid and beat the crap out of him.)

Just go to YouTube, type “sovereign citizen” into the search window and you’ll get a bunch of videos of those idiots. I once had a neighbor who had some property for rent and he told me about one couple looking to rent it who said up front that THEY were “Sovereign Citizens” which made my friend throw their application away as soon as they were out of sight!

I have no knowledge of that boat, and if I did have prior knowledge about that boat, I am not at liberty to discuss that boat.

Side note, may I have the “I heart Canada” key chain back? It may or may not have sentimental value.

Marshall Islands was an option for a few Signal MOS in the 70’s.
It was considered punishment but I don’t see the rub.

Ya know, that “incinerator” looks more like a big barbecue/smoker to me.

Green Thumb

That’s one helluva crack rock.

Obviously the mask was interferring with the inhalation of the “dust”.
