K-9 catches man who allegedly broke into Shenandoah home

Jose R. Gonzalez
A man was recently jailed after a police K-9 apprehended him when he allegedly broke into a home as he fled a police officer in Shenandoah.

Juan Umberto Palacios, 22, of Conroe, is charged with evading arrest with a previous conviction, a state jail felony, and criminal trespass of a habitat, a Class A misdemeanor. Palacios is being held at the Montgomery County Jail on a combined $2,000 bond on those charges, according to jail records.

Around 11:10 p.m. Oct. 24, a Shenandoah Police officer saw the driver park a vehicle hastily and crooked in a handicapped parking space in a motel parking lot in the 18400 block of Interstate 45 North. The driver, later identified as Palacios, stepped out of the vehicle and walked away from the officer, rounding the corner and fleeing the area, according to a Shenandoah release.

Sounds like Ms Thang should of been wearing, “…a Blue Dress, Blue Dress, Blue Dress…with a Blue Dress On.” Just goes to show, no matter how sweet and pretty she looks, somebody, somewhere is tired of putting up with her crap/ Oh, and that whole “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” thing.

Good doggie! Here’s bisket! Poor puppy…prolly had to go lick his ass to get the taste of dirtbag out of his mouth. Hope he don’t catch a case of itchy throat.

Speaking of throwing a buncha stray dogs a bone, figured it was about time for that Austrian plasticized abomination of polymer to show back up. Been awhile. Hell, if somebody wants something worthwhile from Vienna, they should ask for a Torte`… or a can of sausages. 😛

Hondo

Dunno about that, 5/77. Glocks may be ugly – but as AW1Ed has put it many times: they go “bang” reliably every time.

IMO a firearm that works reliably when you need it is a good thing, regardless of its looks.

Roger all that Hondo, never owned or even fired one. Only 9 mil of any sort I’ve had was a Luger that had feed problems. We determined it was built on a Friday after noon. I traded it up for a lever action 38/357 mag and a S&W 38/357 Wheeled Gun. For what it’s worth I ain’t real happy with all the plastic and foreigness of automobiles either. Remember that Little Corporal that came out of Austria.

‘Sides, if I don’t poke at our beloved Aeronautically Designated Aviating Helo Det Goaty Squidly Swabbie, who is? You? Ol’ Poe? The Hardin Boy? Ex-PH2 ain’t gonna do nothing but make ‘Ed another skillet of sausage gravy and some biscuits. You DO know he has a trophy wife too, don’t you? 😛

Maybe this will ‘splain some of my feelings:

Hell, I know people who own HiPoints. And swear by them. Gun people. Me, I have had ‘off’ brand guns (Astra, Bersa, Taurus for example) that performed as well ad any Smith or Colt ever made… and can remember when NO cop would carry a “cheap POS no name knockoff from Ruger.

OWB

Decades ago Taurus was junk, producing mostly Saturday night specials. Somewhere along the line they started making quality products. A friend got one about 20 years ago that was not only beautiful to look at but amazing in it’s handling.

Only thing wrong with my Taurus was, alas, it wouldn’t float. Pity…

To each his own. The more Glocks y’all buy leave more Sigs for me. It’s all good.

Bought one of those Sig 320’s (early model) just because some time back. Didn’t really want or need it, but it was part of an estate a friend was helping to liquidate. I got a pretty good deal on it and still was able to give the family a fair price for it. Guess that now makes me a collector of some sort.

Got rid of the boat from which the earlier collection disappeared but I have the approximate GPS coordinates for a recovery team should they decide to dive for the scrap metal.
