From the Fox article: FBI officials who were involved in the Russia investigation should be “very worried” following the news that a key source for the infamous Steele dossier was under investigation over suspected contact with Russia, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., told “Hannity” Thursday.

Graham added that it was important to note that Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is leading the investigation into the origins of the Russia probe, “has already investigated this matter.”
“So there’s some people tonight that have to be very worried, because now we know the FBI — in December 2016 — knew that the dossier was being prepared by a Russian agent. They never told the court.”
Graham described the dossier as “a massive effort by Russia to do a disinformation campaign against the Trump campaign, and it worked. Bottom line, is the FBI used a document prepared by a Russian agent — paid for by the Democratic Party — to get a warrant against the Trump campaign, and the only place you’re going to hear about that is probably on this show.
“I hope this is a game-changer,” he added. “I hope that the traditional media, the mainstream media will look at this abuse of power.” – article
Now, before you all go off half-cocked and start shooting at squirrels, remember that corruption in government, including at the federal level, is nothing new. If you remember the Watergate hearings and how Nixon knew about the break-in and approved of it, and you dig into the history of government anywhere at the federal level, it is nothing new at all. Historically, it has gone on for as long as humans decided to set up someone to run things so that they could go back to hunting Irish deer dire wolves, and mammoths. The bad leaders frequently outshine the good leaders.
However, in reference to Graham’s wish that this changes things, it probably won’t make a real difference until or unless the more/most corrupt political animals in WDC are sent packing and/or drop dead in their tracks, and the likelihood of the latter is slim. It’s more likely that some of that bunch will be found one morning, sitting at their desks, eyes wide open and staring straight ahead, with a firm and impenetrable grasp on whatever spurs them to keep going, whether it’s a gavel or a name plate or a rostrum.

Anyone else remember the day that a former FBI director called a presser to detail all the serious security violations committed by a campaign only to conclude by telling us that no criminal charges would be filed? That was a very chilling day.
Looks from here like the truth is about to come out for all to see. At least I am more hopeful than I have been in a couple of years.

The actual audio recordings of the “smoking gun” tape make it absolutely clear that Nixon had zero prior knowledge of the Watergate break-in and did NOT approve it in advance. Nixon’s words and tone of voice on finding out that Mitchell likely had prior knowledge of the Watergate break in show surprise if not shock.
Nixon did indeed order the cover up for Watergate, and he rightfully took the fall for that. But as far as I can tell there is not one shred of evidence that’s ever been uncovered to show he knew about and approved of it beforehand. If anything, the evidence available shows he was as shocked as anyone to find out that it had occurred with the apparent approval of his campaign organization.

I agree, as I was a copious watcher of the Watergate hearings and the fallout. There was never any evidence that Nixon ordered the break-in. In any event, it was a Sunday School picnic in comparison to what the DOJ, FBI, CIA and the 0bama admin/Clintonistas have done to Trump and his people. Moreover, the MSM aka Progda has been totally complicit in this massive fraud and attempted bloodless, soft coup d’etat. In most countries 200 years ago, the plotters all would have been executed for treason.
I remember (in my “yute”) the almost daily live hearings on TV. I even vaguely remember Fred Thompson confirming via question existence of the tapes in the first place.

Talk a big game, but never sack up and do anything about it. Trump was the first Republican I’ve seen in my lifetime that sacks up and fights, and some have followed his lead. Democrats unite and fight tooth and nail to the end for every little tiny thing. GOP just doesn’t do that, they’re always tucking tail. This has got to stop. If anything comes of this, I’ll drink popov out of my shoe.
